Lots of Lavender Thinking of You card

Hello and welcome to the post for today. I made a card for someone who is going through a hard time right now and I thought I would share how I made it with all of you. The stamp set used is one that you can get for free with a $50.00 purchase and it's perfect for almost any occasion. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think.

Supplies:
Additional supplies: ATG, Scotch 3M foam tape, powder bag, heat tool, EK Success border punch, waterbrush.

1. Create a card base from Perfect Plum card stock to measure 5 ½’ x 8 ½” and scored at 4 ¼”.

2. Cut a piece of Whisper White card stock to measure 4” x 5 ¼” and then cut a slightly smaller piece of the DSP. Adhere these to pieces to the card front.

3. Next punch out a scallop border and cut in half.

4. Cut a rectangular piece of Perfect Plum card stock, next a slightly smaller panel of Whisper White card stock and finally a piece of DSP slightly smaller still. Adhere the 3 panels together and then adhere the border pieces on either side of the paper stack.

5. Rub a piece of Whisper White card stock down with a powder bag, stamp the Lavender image using Versa Mark ink and then sprinkle with clear embossing powder. Heat set the focal image and then color in with water brush and ink pads. Trim focal panel to fit on top of paper stack and then pop it all up on foam tape and adhere centered on the card front.

6. Stamp the sentiment using black ink on a scrap of white card stock and ink the edges with Crushed Curry ink. Pop the left side of the sentiment up on foam tape and use adhesive on the right side and adhere to the focal image in the bottom left corner.

I hope you have enjoyed today's project and will check back often for more inspiration. Thank you for visiting.

Hang Your Stocking Christmas card 7-28-19

Hello crafters and welcome to some Christmas inspiration on the blog today. I am in the process of using up my stash and making as many cards as possible before the hustle bustle of the season begins. The card for today features the Hang Your Stocking stamp set and Festive Farmhouse DSP (designer series paper). I stamped the stocking and the sentiment using Cherry Cobbler ink and then stamped the snowflakes with VersaMark ink and heat set with some silver embossing powder. I love how this card came out and more inspiration is on the way. Take a look at the project below and please let me know what you think. Supplies used: . I also popped up the focal image using Scotch 3M Foam tape. I hope you have enjoyed today's project and will check back often for more inspiration. Thank you for visiting.

Graceful Garden friendship card

Here's my second card for the weekend. I just can't stop with the butterflies and I wanted to feature the ink colors in a clean and simple card. Sequins just had to be added for a little sparkle. The colors I used will be retiring soon so if you like them go and grab then while you can. I hope you'll take a look at the project below and let me know what you think. Supplies:

Happy Valentine's Day

Hello and welcome to the first Valentine's card I have created for this year. I had to switch card making mode after making so many Christmas cards. This one was hard for me to finish off after having all of the elements cut and had some help coming up with the finishing touches like the sentiment placement and heart sequins. All of the papers used are Stampin' Up as well as the heart sequins. I really like how this one turned out and hope you will as well.
