Bloomin’ Heart/Love you lots card

It's all about Valentine's Day today. A big heart and some smaller hearts created with the Decorative mask really pop on the front of this card using embossing paste and a little sponging. The pop of black for the sentiment pulls it all together. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think. . . Additional supplies: Scotch 3D foam tape, Dreamweaver Embossing paste, powder tool and heat tool. 1. Create a card base from Basic Black card stock that measures 4 ¼” x 11” and score at 5 ½ ”. 2. Cut a piece of Whisper White card stock (4”x 5 ¼”) and sponge the panel using Flirty Flamingo and Blushing Bride ink. Let dry completely then cover with the decorative mask and spread on embossing paste. Let dry completely. Add 3D foam and attach to the card base. 3. On a scrap of Basic Black card stock prepped with powder tool, stamp the sentiment in Versa Mark ink. Heat set and let cool. Create a flag end on the right of the sentiment. Pop up on di

Sending Smiles

Hello everyone and welcome to the blog post for today. I created this card using the Lift Me Up stamp set from the 2017 Occasions catalog, with the cutest balloons and the Moroccan DSP that is great when creating masculine cards. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think. . . Additional supplies: ATG tape runner, clear blocks and masking tape. 1. Create a card base from Whisper White card stock that measures 5 ½” x 8 ½” and score at 4 ¼”. Sponge all of the edges and the inside too using Delightful Dijon ink. 2. Cut a piece of Emerald Envy card stock (4”x 5 ¼”) and sponge the edges. Adhere to the card base. 3. Using the DSP cut a panel to 3 ¾” x 5” and again sponge the edges. Adhere to the card stock panel. 4. Now cut another piece of Emerald Envy card stock that measures 2 ¾” x 4”. Sponge the edges and set aside. 5. Cut a piece of Whisper White card stock to 2 ½” x 3 ¾”. TGIF and welcome to another post featuring a stamp set from the New Occasions catalog along with the Rose Wonder stamp set. Create a card base from Real Red card stock that measures 4 ¼”x 11” and score at 5 ½”. 2. Cut 2 pieces of Whisper White card stock to 4”x 5 ¼” (one is for the inside of the card). 3. Cut a 3” x 4” piece of DSP and adhere to the bottom of one of the Whisper White panels using your favorite adhesive. Wrap this panel with a piece of the Metallic ribbon. 4. Die cut the smaller rose from Whisper White and Flirty Flamingo card stocks with Stick-It adhesive on the back. Also, die-cut the leaf from Old Olive card stock and place under the white rose outline. Place

Hello Love CAS card

It's Tuesday and I have another Valentine's card to share with you. This card is super simple using one stamp set, one ink color and a DSP. This card would be nice for a male or a female and it comes together so quickly that you can mass-produce with very little effort. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think. . . 1. Create a card base from Real Red card stock that measures 5 ½” x 8 ½” and score at 4 ¼”. Round the corners on the right side. 2. Cut a piece of Whisper White card stock (4”x 5 ¼”). Round the corners on the right side then stamp the sentiment in the bottom right corner using Real Red ink. 3. Cut a 2” x 5 ¼” piece of DSP and adhere to the left side of the Whisper White panel and then adhere it all to the card base. 4. Die cut the largest and the smallest hearts using the Mini Treat Bag thinlits and then the mid-size heart from the Love Notes framelits. Center the hearts onto the front of the card using mini glue dots.

Be Mine using a Joseph's Coat technique

Hello and welcome the post for today. We've been having some snowy weather here in Virginia and I'm sure that you can imagine how crafty I am being since it's too cold outside and there's no reason for me to travel anywhere. I created the card I'm going to share for a group challenge to use the Joseph's Coat technique and I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. There's an element of surprise when doing the final step and I think that's the part I like the best. For this card there is Sponging, Heat embossing and then covering it all up for the big reveal. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think. . . Additional supplies: ATG tape runner, Heat tool, Powder bag, clear blocks. 1. Create a card base from Watermelon Wonder card stock that is 5 ½” x 8 ½” and score at 4 ¼” to make a top-folded card. 2. Cut a piece of Whisper White card stock (4”x 5 ¼”) and adhere to the card base. 3. On a ¼” smaller piece of Whispe
