Hello and happy Saturday. I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend. Family layout

Hello and welcome to today's post of a layout that I created using a sketch from Janice Daquila-Pardo of theconstantscrapper.com. I thought using a sketch would be easier for me to come up with a layout and this one was cute. Here's the sketch that I used: Here's the layout I created. 1. Start with Pacific Point card stock as the background and made a smaller panel of Melon Mambo card stock, then run one edge through the Big Shot using the Adorning Accents edgelits. 2. Cut a panel of the Bohemian DSP and adhere to the center of the background. 3. Cut a 1/2" strip of the Pacific Point and adhere it to the top of the Bohemian DSP. 4. Cut a strip of Robin's Red Paper pack (Hot off the Press, run through the Big Shot with the same Adorning Accents edgelits and place at the bottom of the Bohemian DSP. 5. I used the Hexagon Hive Thinlits Die and the Big Shot and punch out the pieces to adhere to the left side of my page. And then for the bigger hexagon

Wishing everyone a warm, happy and blessed day

Stampin' Up Embellished Ornaments- Loving Wishes card

Today's card project is one of my favorites so far. I love the ornament framelits and the candy dots so much and I knew I had to use both on this card. Real Red card stock is the backdrop for the Merry Moments DSP and the tag that was stamped on Whisper White card stock using Old Olive ink. The Gold ribbon was used as a string for the ornament to hang from. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think. Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog Additional supplies used: ATG tape runner, Heat tool, and clear blocks. I hope you have enjoyed today's project and will check back often for more inspiration.

It's Thursday and boy am I ready for the weekend. It's been a long week and I need some downtime. Today's project is clean and simple and goes together so quickly. Christmas Joy layout

Hello everyone. I hope you have been enjoying your weekend because I know I have. Today I have created a Christmas layout using photos from last year of my son, his cousin and also his Uncle. It was hard coming up with the color scheme because all of the guys are wearing an orange colored shirt. Orange doesn't scream Christmas to me but my brother-in-law took these photos of all of them as a present for me, so what can you do but roll with it. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think. . 1. Start with a Pear Pizzazz layer of Core'dinations card stock (12"x12") and then adhered a piece of the Designer series paper (11"x11"). 2. Cut out the scalloped edges with dies and the Big Shot and then sponge on the color with Early Espresso ink and adhere that to each side of the Tangelo Twist piece of card stock (that's where the orange comes in). 3. Put 2 pieces of the Trim the Tree DSP (2 of the same in my case)over the Tange

Stampin' Up Sparkly Seasons

Good morning and welcome to the card post for the day. I just think this card is so cute and hope the recipient will as well. I chose a Real Red card base, some Designer Series Paper, a little heat embossing and of course some stamping. I think any little girl would love to open this up on Christmas morning, maybe with a gift card inside (lol). Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think. The sentiment. Close up of the elements. Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog 1. Create card base out of Real Red card stock at 4 ¼” x 11”. Score at 5 ½”. 2. Cut a piece of Home for Christmas DSP at 4” x 5 ¼. 3. Adhere DSP to front of the card base. 4. Cut a piece of Pool Party card stock so that there is about ½” on either side and center in the middle of the DSP. 5. Stamp images, heat emboss, color and cut out. Center images in the center of the card front and pop up on dimensional as desired. Tie a bow around the base of the globe. 6. Stamp se

Echo Park: Ghost Town- Halloween Layout

Hello and welcome to the a layout share for today. This Halloween layout took a little while for me to figure out but I like the end results. The Echo Park Ghost Town collection came at just the right time and I loved using the chipboard pieces included in the kit. The doily in the bottom corner is from Stampin' Up and the Black card stock came from my stash. I don't really like my handwriting so I chose to create a hidden pocket with the BOO card and added some ribbon to the Stampin' Up Tag Topper punch so it would be easy to pull out. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think. . Showing the hidden journaling. . Close up of the photos and the elements used. I hope you have enjoyed this project and will check back often for more inspiration.

Stampin' Up: Peaceful Pines- "Tis the Season

Hello and welcome to today's post. It's another Christmas card but it's not using the traditional colors. Watermelon Wonder and Basic Black cardstock with a a little Winter Wonderland Designer Series vellum and this card really came together. Even with all of that, the card was missing something so I added some black candy dots and I think that did the trick. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think. . I will also be linking this project to MOJO423: Mojo Monday blog. Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog . Additional supplies: ATG tape runner, Heat tool and anti-static powder bag. I hope you have enjoyed today's project and will check back often for more inspiration.

Stampin' Up: To You and Yours Too- Merry Christmas

Hello. I hope your weekend has been relaxing. I've been working on a few projects and the one I'd like to share today is a Christmas card, using some Designer series vellum, a little heat embossing and a die set that I think brings out the stamped image. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think. I really like the white embossing for the sentiment without taking away from the Designer Series Vellum. Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog . Additional supplies: ATG tape runner, heat tool and anti-static powder bag. I hope you have enjoyed today's project and will check back often for more inspiration.

Using my stash- Birthday Bash birthday card

So I saw a post in my newsfeed from a fellow demonstrator, Terry Walker, who showed a card using up her stash and thought, "What a great way to use up some of my old/retired papers". I used her type of layout but made it my own with the stamp sets and papers I chose. The Designer Series Papper I used is called Birthday Bash and the card stock is also retired but a nice weight so I still use it when possible. I used the Four You stamp set (retired) for the sentiment because it was the perfect size to fit on the strip of Tangelo Twist card stock in the center of the card. The image was stamped using the Ronald Mcdonald House stamp set, Sprinkles of Life. There was some fussy cutting involved but it was fairly easy with the bottom of the cupcake. The cupcake topper was punched using the Tree Builder Punch from the 2015-2016 Annual Catalog. Take a look at today's project and let me know what you think. Stampin' Up: Happy Haunting Halloween card

Hello and welcome to today's post for the Halloween series. Today I have created a very CAS (Clean and Simple) card using Stampin' Up's September Paper Pumpkin stamp set. The Designer Series Paper is great for creating this card because all of the papers coordinate. The card base is Old Olive and the card stock panels are Tangelo Twist. The buttons used on this card are from a retired In Color Accessory Pack but any buttons would do. Take a look at the project below, as well as the photo video that shows the steps for putting this card together, and let me know what you think. Here's the video: Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog Additional supplies used: Stampin' Up September Paper Pumpkin stamp set and ATG Tape runner. Stampin' Up: Cherry on Top- Birthday card

Happy Sunday everyone. I have a project that highlights the papers and card stock instead of just the stamping. The Designer Series paper pack is Cherry on Top which is very bright and colorful and the matching card stocks are Crushed Curry, Watermelon Wonder, and Pool Party. I used a sketch to create this card from a cardmaking book by Jeanette R Lynton called Wishes: fall in love with cardmaking and found it to be a great resource. Take a look at the project and video below and let me know what you think. Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog Additional supplies: Scotch ATG tape runner, Bone folder. Stampin' Up Howl-o-ween card

Today's project started in one direction and changed course pretty quickly. I love this set from the Holiday catalog and the best part is that there's a framelit for all of the images except the sentiment. Colors used on the sentiment are Blackberry Bliss and Tangelo Twist and the spider was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The Happy Hauntings DSP was cut and adhered to the bottom of the Basic Black card stock and then the owl was stamped in Early Espresso and die cut with the matching framelit and popped up with dimensionals. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think. Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog Additional supplies: ATG tape runner. A photo video tutorial will be posted for this card tomorrow on this blog. I hope you have enjoyed today's post and will check back often for more inspiration.

Time to chill using Stampin' Up's Snow Place

In just a few short hours, Summer will be over and fall will be moving in. Today's project will help with the change of season and help you just take time to chill. The color scheme is very clean starting with the Whisper White card base that was run through the Decorative Dots embossing folder. The feel of chill is Pool party ink, which was used to match the DSP. The pop of color on the Penguin's beak and feet is Tangelo Twist. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think. Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog Additional supplies: ATG tape runner.
