Holiday Home Merry Christmas

This one is a little late today but I have created a Christmas card using the Holiday Home stamp set from Stampin' Up.

  1. Make a card base from Whisper White card stock cut to 5 ½”x 8 ½”, scored at 4 ¼”.
  2. Cut a piece of DSP from the Trim the Tree pack to 5 ¼” x 4” and wrap with a piece of ¼ white ribbon along the left side.  Adhere the panel to the card base using ATG gun.
  3. Using the flip side of the DSP used in the previous step, cut a shape out using the Fiskars frames-1 (#4589) to place over the ribbon panel, centered and toward the left.
  4. Cut a piece of Whisper White card stock and stamp the sleigh from the Holiday Home stamp set in the top left corner with Early Espresso Classic Ink.  Stamp the house from the same set in the bottom right corner and then stamp the lamp post to the left of the house.  Stamp the Merry Christmas in Mossy Meadow Classic ink to the left of the lamp post at an angle. Cut this piece using the Fiskars Journal plates (#01-005266).
  5. Color all of your images.  I chose to use the Spectrum Noir markers and then pop dotted the panel and adhered to the DSP centered using the ATG Gun.
  6. The inside of the card was left blank for a message.

I hope you have enjoyed this project and please check back often for inspiration.

  2. Cut a piece of Real Red card stock (Stampin' Up) to 5 1/4" x 4", run through a stripes embossing folder (Darice) and adhere to the card base with ATG gun.
  3. Place a piece of yellow card stock cut to 4 1/4" x 3 1/4" ( I used a scrap piece from Recollections) in the center of the front Real Red panel.

Perfect Pennants Birthday card

Happy Monday and welcome to my blog.  I have created a Birthday card for you today and hope you enjoy it.

Instructions:

  • ·  Cut card base out of Baked Brown Sugar to 5 ½”x 8 ½” and score at 4 ¼” and fold.

  •  Cut a piece of Whisper White card stock to 4”x 5 ¼” and adhere to card base.

  • Cut a piece of Baked Brown Sugar (5 ¼”x 1 ¾”) and a piece of Designer Series Paper (I used some leftover retired Sweet Sorbet Paper) to 1 9/16” x 5 1/6” and adhere to the Baked Brown Sugar panel the adhere to the Whisper White layer about ¼” from the right edge.

  • Cut another piece of Baked Brown Sugar to 1 ¾”x 4 1/6” and also cut a piece of DSP (again the leftovers from Sweet Sorbet paper) to 1 5/8” x 3 7/8” and adhere to the Baked Brown Sugar panel.  Adhere to the card base ¼” from the bottom.
  • Punch 3 banners out of Crushed Curry card stock, using the Banner Punch and 3 (1”) circles using the 1” Circle Punch.  Adhere the banner to the left side of the circle with Tombo Mono Multi Liquid.  Pop the circles with flags up and place a Stone (Queen&Co) in the center of each circle.  Place 2 of the circle flags on the front of the card (be sure to create a visual triangle) and then place a Stone to the right center of the card.

  • Stamp sentiment from Perfect Pennants (Make a Wish) on the Sweet Sorbet DSP in Jet Black Stazon
  • For the inside of the card cut another piece of Whisper White card stock to 4” x 5 ¼” and place the last circle flag at the bottom of the panel and adhere all to the inside of the card.

I hope you have enjoyed this project and please check back often for inspiration.

Blooming Birthday Bookmark

Good morning everyone.  Today I have a simple bookmark project for you.I chose the Flower Patch stamp set to create this bookmark.  It's one of my favorites and it's so versatile.

Instructions:
  1. Begin by cutting a 2" strip of Whisper White card stock.  The length is approximately 6 3/4" (will depend on the size you'd like your bookmark to be). Place the top of card stock in the Tag Topper Scalloped punch and push.
  2. Using a Stampin Sponge and Hello Honey ink, sponge all of the edges.
  3. Stamp your image choices over the white card stock.  For the larger flower image (Mossy Meadow) I stamped off once (for a lighter image) and then for the center went directly to the paper (for a darker image).
  4. Using Mossy Meadow ink stamp the sentiment in the bottom center of the book mark.
  5. In the bottom left corner stamp 3 stems (Mossy Meadow) and a flower image on top in Hello Honey ink.
  6. On a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock stamp your large flower image then die cut the image using the Big Shot machine. Sponge a small scrap of Whisper white card stock with Hello Honey ink and die cut a centerpiece for your flower.  Adhere the pieces together with Tombo Mono Multi Liquid glue and use a mini glue dot to position it on the bookmark above the greeting.
  7. Position 3 Rhinestone Basic Jewels where you want them and you're done.
I hope you have enjoyed this project and please check back often for inspiration.

Beer Birthday Card

Today I have a Birthday card made using my Cricut machine.  Take a look below.

  1. Cut the card base from some blue Recollections card stock to 8 1/4" x 5 1/4".
  2. Cut the top and right side of the card base with Victorian edge scissors and then inked the edges with Stampin'Up Crushed Curry Classic Ink pad.
  3. Using the St. Patrick's Day Cricut cartridge make the pint with all it's pieces, sponge the inside of the pint with Stampin'Up Crushed Curry Classic Ink pad then adhere the pint to the front of the card.
  4. Cut and stamp the Happy Birthday from the Close to My Heart Cricut Artiste Birthday Collection, using Stazon Jet Black ink.  Place pop dots on each end of the Happy Birthday banner and adhere over the pint on the front of the card.
  5. Scatter some TPC Studio jewels (Gold) from Timeless Christmas, in a visual triangle to complete the card.
I hope you have enjoyed this project and please check back often for inspiration.

Joy to all Card

Today I have 2 different versions of the same card design. I love the foil snowflakes and the patterned paper corners. I love the dry emboss...
