Halloween Series #1- Stampin' Up Fall Fest

Hello and welcome to a Halloween card project that was a lot of fun to make. I used Tangelo Twist card stock for the base and Basic Black card stock for the layer and the new DSP from the Holiday catalog that goes live on September 1st. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think.
This is how the card ended but then I thought it needed a little bling so I added some gold sequins using Glossy Accents. I think they added the little sparkle that was missing.
I die cut all the leaves at the bottom and inked the edges of some with the Tangelo Twist ink before placing them on the card.

Here's another look at the final project and check back next Saturday for another Halloween card.

Hello everyone and welcome to today's post where I will share a birthday card with you. Everyone knows someone who celebrates a birthday so why not send them Happy Mail. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think.
Front of the card

Pop up the focal image. <br>
Focal Image

Decorate the inside.
1. Start with the card base of Mint Macaron.
2. Cut strips of Whisper White card stock and then some DSP slightly smaller than the Whisper White panel.
3. Use the other side of the DSP and die cut into a circle then adhere to a Whisper White circle larger than the DSP. Pop up with Dimensionals.
4 I added 3 Bermuda Bay sequins to the center of the card and stamped the sentiment directly to the card stock panel.
5. For the inside: On a panel of Whisper White card stock, stamp sentiment and punch out the cupcake and adhere to the panel. Use the scraps from the cut circle from the front of the card and place to the bottom right of the panel. Adhere the panel to the inside of the card.

Card share

Hello and welcome to a card share post. The idea was seen on a YouTube video by Deb Valder and I just had to try it. This is a good way to use scraps or use Designer Series paper. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think.
Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog
Instructions:
•Cut card base out of Whisper White card stock to 5 ½”x 8 ½” and score at 4 ¼” and fold.
•Cut a piece of Mossy Meadow card stock to 4”x 5 ¼” and adhere to card base.
•Cut another piece of Whisper White card stock (4" x 5 ¼”) and then cut strips of the DSP (1/2" x 5 1/2") Place on the Whisper White card stock in desired pattern.
•Cut off any excess pieces from the panel and cut the panel down 1/4" to fit the Mossy Meadow panel.
•Using a scrap piece of Mossy Meadow card stock, use embossing buddy to prep surface then stamp sentiment using VersaMark ink. Sprinkle with embossing powder and heat to melt. Pop the sentiment up using dimensionals and place in the bottom left corner.

Additional supplies: July 2015 Paper Pumpkin (stamp)kit, ATG tape runner, Heat tool, Clear blocks

Nature's Perfection & Lots of Thanks- Gift set

Welcome to today's post where I have put together a gift set using 2 stamps, 2 ink colors, 2 card stock colors, Washi tape and Rhinestones. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think.
The card base is made from So Saffron Core'dinations card stock and then run through the Big Shot using the Boho Chic embossing folder for some texture.

On Whisper White cardstock stamp Thank You in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Stamp the Butterfly under the sentiment using Delightful Dijon ink. Add rhinestones to the butterfly body. Wrap a piece of Washi Tape to the bottom of the card stock. Adhere the Whisper White panel to the card base using Mini Glue dots.

For the inside, cut a piece of Whisper White card stock the same size as the front panel. Stamp the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

Use the envelope punch board to make matching envelopes.

Additional supplies: ATG tape runner.
The Nature's perfection stamp set is no longer available but a good substitution for the butterfly stamp is the Kinda Eclectic stamp set (135350) which has 2 choices of butterfly.

I hope you have enjoyed this project and will check back often for more inspiration.
