Here Comes The Ice Cream Man- layout

Hello and welcome to today's post. I have a layout share that features the Echo Park Playground collection and the Heidi Swapp Project Life kit along with some exclusive alphas from the June Hip Kit. This layout was hard to put together for the challenge over at Sketches in Thyme (#205) but loved the collection I chose for the photos I was using.

I had taken my son over to the mall to go to the indoor playground and while waiting for it to open he spotted the powered ice cream truck that made noise. Of course Michael just had to ride and he looks like he's really enjoying it.

Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think.

.
Supplies used: Echo Park Playground collection, June (main) Hip Kit alphas, Heidi Swapp Project Life kit (the stars), Cherry on Top DSP (SU), Summer Starfruit cardstock for the background(SU), ATG tape runner and Mini glue dots.

I hope you have enjoyed today's project and will check back often for more inspiration. Thank you for visiting.

The Best Day- layout share

Hello everyone. It's been a hard day today but I relaxed a little by creating this layout. Most of the products used are from the June Hip Kit with the exception of the background stamping which uses the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set and the gold sequins which are from Stampin' Up. I enjoyed putting this page together and love the colors in this months kit. I even surprised myself by doing a little journaling on the actual layout and not hiding it. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think.

It's a Good Day- card share

It's time for a new card design with some new products from Stampin' Up that I had so much fun working with. I love this new stamp set and the matching dies which make it so easy to put a card together. I wanted a sketched feel to the images so I didn't color anything in. I was going to add some bling but my husband said less is more so take a look at the project below and let me know what you think.
.

The supplies used:
.

Additional supplies: ATG tape runner.

1. Start with Flirty Flamingo card stock cut to 5 ½”x 8 ½” and score at 4 ¼”.
2. Cut a piece of Whisper White card stock to 4” x 5 ¼” and adhere to the card base and then cut a slightly smaller piece of Dapper Denim card stock. Run the Dapper Denim Panel through the Confetti embossing folder and adhere to the Whisper White panel.
3. Run a piece of Whisper White card stock through the Big Shot using the Layering Ovals framelits and then stamp background image all of the panel, stamp the sentiment and adhere to the center of the Dapper Denim piece using tape runner.
4. On Whisper White card stock stamp branch, bird and flower images and run through the Big Shot machine with matching framelits. Adhere the stamped images onto the card front across the center of the oval piece. The bird was popped up using dimensional.

For the inside of the card, cut a piece of Whisper White card stock to 4” x 5 ¼” and adhere to the inside of the card.

I hope you have enjoyed today's project and will check back often for more inspiration. Thank you for visiting.

Let's Celebrate

TGIF and here's to wishing you have a great weekend. Today I would like to share a card with you the uses some old and new Stampin' Up products. Trying to clear out my stash since new goodies have arrived and I want to play.
I couldn't see putting a sentiment on the front of the card so I'll probably use this as a generic celebration card. The colors lend themselves to either masculine or feminine recipients so we'll see.
Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think.

.

.

Additional supplies: ATG tape runner, Clear blocks.

Instructions:
1. Create a card base from Dapper Denim card stock cut to 4 ¼” x 11” and score at 5 ½”.
2. Cut a piece of Flashback DSP to 4” x 5 ¼”and adhere to the card base using ATG tape runner.
3. Using a piece of Whisper White card stock cut to about 2” x 4”, stamp balloon strings in Dapper Denim ink. Make a flag banner about ½” wide out of the other side of the DSP and adhere to the bottom of the Whisper White panel. Adhere the whole thing to the card front .
4. Stamp 3 balloons on some scrap Whisper White card stock and punch out the shapes with the Balloon Bouquet punch. Pop the 2 end balloons on dimensionals and adhere the middle balloon directly to the Whisper White panel. I made a bow out of the Gold Cording and stuck that on the balloon bouquet.

2. Stamp the a sentiment inside or leave blank for a personal message.

Happy Father's Day

Hello and happy Sunday to you all. I hope the weekend provided much needed rest and lots of fun in the sun. Today I wanted to share with you a card for the men in our lives. This one came together pretty quickly and was pretty simple to create. All of the papers used are Stampin' Up and the image used is from Close to My Heart. There's a little heat embossing on the sentiment and of course I had to pop everything up just a little bit for some dimension. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think.
.

1. Start by creating a card base that measures 5 1/2” x 8 ½” and score it at 4 1/4”.
.

2. Cut a piece Perfectly Artistic DSP to 4” x 5 ¼”. Adhere the DSP to the card base using ATG tape runner.
.

3. Cut a piece of Whisper White card stock to about 3 ½” x 3 ½” and then cut another piece of the Perfectly Artisitic DSP slightly smaller. Stamp the image directly onto the DSP using Memento Tuxedo black ink and adhere these 2 pieces together using ATG tape runner and then adhere to the card base using 3M Scotch foam tape.
.

4. Prep a scrap piece of Basic Black card stock with an embossing bag, stamp the Happy Father’s Day sentiment in VersaMark ink and then heat set. Pop the sentiment up using 3M Scotch foam tape and adhere to the bottom of the card front.
.
For the inside of the card I simply used a piece of the DSP from the front and left it blank for a personal message.

Dad You're My Anchor

Happy Saturday everyone. Today I have a new card share for you and it's in celebration of Father's Day. It is hard coming up with card ideas for the men in our lives because there's hardly ever any bling, ribbons, or sequins- all of my go to supplies. Today's card uses some masculine colors and the sentiment is just right for a guy. Take a look at the project I have created and let me know what you think.

.

1. Start by creating a card base that measures 4 ¼” x 11” and score it at 5 ½”.

3. Cut a piece of Whisper White card stock to 2 ½” x 3” and then cut a piece of Dapper Denim slightly smaller. Adhere these 2 pieces together using ATG tape runner and then adhere to the card base.
.
4. Using a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock, die cut the tag and then stamp the image in Memento Tuxedo black ink. Sponge the edges with Delightful Dijon ink and pop up with Scotch 3M foam tape. Adhere to the Dapper Denim card stock.
.
5. Stamp Dad in the top left corner and You're My Anchor in the bottom right corner using Memento Tuxedo black ink directly on the DSP.
.

The inside of the card has a Whisper White piece of card stock inside and was left blank for a personal message.

Remember This Day- Layout share

Okay, I left for a little vacation with my family but now I'm back with a new layout share. I hope everyone enjoyed the Memorial Holiday and now getting to make those summer plans.
The layout today features the January Hip Kit and the stencil used to make the circles comes from Stampin' Up Dots and Stripes masks. The ink used on the stencil is the new Stampin' Up In Color Emerald Envy.

I used a gold Recollections label for my journaling which I wrote out using a .01 Project Life journaling pen and I used the Heidi Swapp Gold Color Shine to make my splatters.

Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think.

I hope you have enjoyed today's project and will check back often for more inspiration.
