Dad You're My Anchor

Happy Saturday everyone. Today I have a new card share for you and it's in celebration of Father's Day. It is hard coming up with card ideas for the men in our lives because there's hardly ever any bling, ribbons, or sequins- all of my go to supplies. Today's card uses some masculine colors and the sentiment is just right for a guy. Take a look at the project I have created and let me know what you think.

.

1. Start by creating a card base that measures 4 ¼” x 11” and score it at 5 ½”.
.
2. Cut a piece of the DSP to 4” x 5 ¼”. Trace the corners of the die on all 4 corners of the DSP and adhere to the card base.

3. Cut a piece of Whisper White card stock to 2 ½” x 3” and then cut a piece of Dapper Denim slightly smaller. Adhere these 2 pieces together using ATG tape runner and then adhere to the card base.
.
4. Using a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock, die cut the tag and then stamp the image in Memento Tuxedo black ink. Sponge the edges with Delightful Dijon ink and pop up with Scotch 3M foam tape. Adhere to the Dapper Denim card stock.
.
5. Stamp Dad in the top left corner and You're My Anchor in the bottom right corner using Memento Tuxedo black ink directly on the DSP.
.

The inside of the card has a Whisper White piece of card stock inside and was left blank for a personal message.

I hope you have enjoyed today's project and will check back often for more inspiration. Thank you for visiting.

Hang Your Stocking Christmas card 7-28-19

Hello crafters and welcome to some Christmas inspiration on the blog today. I am in the process of using up my stash and making as many cards as possible before the hustle bustle of the season begins. The card for today features the Hang Your Stocking stamp set and Festive Farmhouse DSP (designer series paper). I stamped the stocking and the sentiment using Cherry Cobbler ink and then stamped the snowflakes with VersaMark ink and heat set with some silver embossing powder. I love how this card came out and more inspiration is on the way. Take a look at the project below and please let me know what you think. Supplies used: . I also popped up the focal image using Scotch 3M Foam tape. I hope you have enjoyed today's project and will check back often for more inspiration. Thank you for visiting.

Graceful Garden friendship card

Here's my second card for the weekend. I just can't stop with the butterflies and I wanted to feature the ink colors in a clean and simple card. Sequins just had to be added for a little sparkle. The colors I used will be retiring soon so if you like them go and grab then while you can. I hope you'll take a look at the project below and let me know what you think. Supplies:
