Silver Lining card

It's Sunday and I hope everyone out there is having a great day. We're celebrating Father's day today but I found a little time to create a card for positive thoughts. I used some old products as well as some new products along with some sponging and heat embossing. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think.

Supplies used:

Additional supplies: ATG tape runner, heat tool, embossing bag, Scotch 3M foam tape.

1. Start with Whisper White card stock cut to 4 ¼” x 11” and score at 5 ½” .

2. Cut a piece of Old Olive card stock to 4” x 5 ¼” and adhere to the card base. Cut a slightly smaller piece of Whisper White card stock and sponge on the sky in Soft Sky ink and then again with Pool Party ink. Stamp the clouds in Versa Mark ink, cover with clear embossing powder and heat set. Stamp and punch tree image and leaves and stamp the little flowers in Flirty Flamingo, Hello Honey and Peek a Boo Peach and color the stems in Old Olive marker and stamp.

3. Using a piece of Hello Honey card stock cut to fit the bottom of the panel, stamp the sentiment in Memento Tuxedo black ink and quickly cover with clear embossing powder; heat set and adhere to the bottom of the focal image and adhere the whole thing to the Old Olive card stock using ATG tape runner.

4. For the inside of the card a panel of Old Olive card stock was cut to 4” x 5 ¼” and adhered to the inside of the card.

I hope you have enjoyed today's project and will check back often for more inspiration. Thank you for visiting.
