Have you ever backed a diecut with different dsp (patterned paper)? Well the project I'm sharing today shows just that. I love this stamp and die bundle and the various colors of the pretty papers just called to me. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think.
.
Additional supplies: ATG tape glider, Scotch 3M foam tape.
Instructions:
Started with a White card base and then I cut a panel of Whisper White card stock and inked it up with some Ranger /Tim Holtz Milled Lavender Distress ink. Next run the panel through the Big Shot using the Swirls & Curls embossing folder.
I die cut the butterflies using the Butterfly Beauty thinlits and Heather Highland card stock backed with adhesive sheet( to make an instant sticker). I then backed the individual butterflies with a different piece of dsp from the Gingham Gala pack and a piece of the Botanical Butterfly dsp.
The butterflies were popped up with Scotch 3M foam tape.
The sentiment from Itty Bitty Birthdays was stamped on white cardstock using Highland Heather ink and then matted onto a piece of black card stock.
I sprinkled the card front with some Gingham Gala sequins to finish the card off.
I hope you have enjoyed today's project and will check back often for more inspiration. Thank you for visiting.

What a lovely idea and the result is absolutely beautiful Tiffany!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Therese. A little more time intensive than usual and fussy cutting, too.
