Lots of New Things coming.

Wishing everyone a Blessed and Safe New Year. The last 2 weeks of December found me busy working on some new crafty things and enjoying family time. I hope everyone had a great Holiday and all are ready to bring in the New Year. . See ya all in 2018

Star of Light- Merry Christmas card

Hello and welcome to today's post where I am sharing another Christmas card that is quick and simple to create. I love using dark card stock and bright white embossing powder to highlight a card. Grab some card stock, embossing ink and embossing powder and you're ready to create. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think. . Supplies: . Additional supplies: ATG. MISTI, powder bag, heat tool. 1. Create a card base from Dapper Denim card stock to measure 5 ½” x 8 ½” and scored at 4 ¼”. 2. Cut a piece of Whisper White card stock to measure 4” x 5 ¼” and adhere to the card base. 3. Cut a piece of Dapper Denim card stock to measure 3 ¾” x 5”. Prep this panel with a powder bag. Stamp the images and sentiment using Versa Mark ink and then sprinkle with White embossing powder and heat set. 4. Add Metallic enamel shapes around the card. Adhere the Dapper Denim panel to the card base. Finish off the inside of the card with a personal message.

Snowflake Sentiments- Season's Greetings card

The Christmas season is fast approaching. The cards are made and mailed out but I thought I'd share some of them here. I think this one is one of my favorites and I love the colors in the DSP. Of course I had to add a little shimmer and shine with the Gold Metallic ribbon. I created a simple greeting/ focal image and nothing else was needed for this card. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think. . Supplies: . Additional supplies: ATG, clear blocks. 1. Create a card base from Whisper White card stock to measure 5 ½” x 8 ½” and scored at 4 ¼” to make a top-fold card. 2. Cut a 4” x 5 ¼” piece of Garden Green card stock and a slightly smaller piece of the DSP. Adhere these two pieces together and then wrap the bottom portion of the panels with ribbon. 3. Cut a scalloped square from Garden Green card stock and then cut a plain square from Whisper White card stock. On the Whisper White piece stamp the sentiment and focal image. Adhere the 2 sq

Sympathy card

A dear friend passed away a couple of weeks ago and I needed to create the dreaded Sympathy card for the family. This type of card is always hard to make but adding gold always makes it a little easier. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think. . Supplies . Round the bottom corners. Cut a piece of Whisper White card stock and round the bottom corners. Cut a piece of DSP to fit the bottom of the Whisper White panel, round the bottom corners and then adhere to the bottom of the Whisper White panel. Joy to all Card

Today I have 2 different versions of the same card design. I love the foil snowflakes and the patterned paper corners. I love the dry embossing with the Quilt Top embossing folder with a little stamping and coloring to finish everything off. Take a look at the projects below and let me know what you think. . Supplies . Additional supplies: powder bag, ATG, heat tool and clear blocks. Create a card base from Whisper White card stock to measure 5 ½” x 8 ½” and scored at 4 ¼”. Run the card front through the Big Shot with the Quilt Top embossing folder. Cut a piece of the DSP to 3” x 4” and then cut in half diagonally. Place on desired card stock and cut to size. Adhere the DSP to the card stock with favorite adhesive and then adhere to the card front using liquid glue, in the bottom left and top right corner. Die-cut a 2 3/8” circle from Garden Green card stock and then a smaller circle from white card stock. Stamp the focal image on the white circle using Garden Green ink and
