Sympathy card

A dear friend passed away a couple of weeks ago and I needed to create the dreaded Sympathy card for the family. This type of card is always hard to make but adding gold always makes it a little easier. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think.

  1. Create a card base from Whisper White card stock to measure 4 ¼” x 11” and scored at 5 ½”. Round the bottom corners.
  2. Cut a piece of Whisper White card stock and round the bottom corners. Cut a piece of DSP to fit the bottom of the Whisper White panel, round the bottom corners and then adhere to the bottom of the Whisper White panel.
  3. Prep the top portion of the Whisper White panel with a powder bag, stamp the flowers with VersaMark ink and sprinkle with Gold embossing powder. Heat set the flowers and let cool.
  4. Wrap the left side of the panel with a piece of Soft Sky ribbon and make a bow from the same ribbon.
  5. Stamp the sentiment on a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock using VersaMark ink, sprinkle with Gold embossing powder and heat set. Flag the right side of the sentiment strip, pop up on dimensionals and place under the embossed flowers. Add the bow as pictured.
Finish off the inside of the card with a personal message.

Hello crafters and welcome to some Christmas inspiration on the blog today. I am in the process of using up my stash and making as many cards as possible before the hustle bustle of the season begins. The card for today features the Hang Your Stocking stamp set and Festive Farmhouse DSP (designer series paper). I stamped the stocking and the sentiment using Cherry Cobbler ink and then stamped the snowflakes with VersaMark ink and heat set with some silver embossing powder. Graceful Garden friendship card

Here's my second card for the weekend. I just can't stop with the butterflies and I wanted to feature the ink colors in a clean and simple card. Sequins just had to be added for a little sparkle. Party Pandas Valentine

Hello and welcome to the post for today. I'm still working on my Valentine cards and the one I want to share with you today is for my 5 year old son. I tried to keep this one very masculine but fun and that little panda just makes me smile when I look at it. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think. Supplies: . Additional supplies: Darice stripe embossing folder, ATG, Xacto corner rounder, Inkadinkado #95284 Happy Everything stamp set. 1. Create a card base from Real Red card stock to measure 5 ½’ x 8 ½” and scored at 4 ¼”. 2. Cut a piece of Basic Black card stock to measure 4” x 5 ¼”. Run this panel through the stripes embossing folder using the Big Shot machine, round the corners and set aside. 3. Next cut a piece of DSP to measure 4” x 4”, cut diagonally and then adhere to the embossed Basic Black panel. Adhere the panel to the card front using favorite adhesive. 4.
