Teacher Appreciation card

Hello and welcome to today's post in honor of Teacher appreciation day. I have created a card for my son's preschool teacher who has been a great joy to work with and who keeps me informed of all matters. Take a look at the project below that gave me a chance to use my electronic die-cutting machine and sentiment stickers. This was quick and easy card to make and I think quite easy to mass produce. Take a look and let me know what you think.

Additional supplies used: Brother Scan 'n Cut, Mason Row XL-58000 36-Piece Uppercase Alphabet Clickable Bodoni Font Stamp Set, Tim Holtz Big Chat word stickers, ATG tape runner, Scotch 3D foam tape, Queen&co Snowflake pearls

1. Create a card base from Whisper White card stock to measure 5 ½” x 8 ½” and score at 4 ¼”. Make it a top fold card.

2. Cut a panel of Delightful Dijon DSP to measure 5 5/16” x 3 ¾” and adhere to the card base, leaving a ¼” on the top and bottom of the panel.

3. On Whisper White card stock, using PEGZ uppercase letters set and stamp the word TEACHER. Cut the right side of the sentiment at an angle and sponge the edges using Delightful Dijon ink. Adhere the sentiment strip in the top left corner of the DSP.

4. Using a die cutting machine (or a stamp), cut out an apple using Real Red card stock and the stem using Cucumber Crush ink. Glue the stem to the apple using Fine-tip glue pen. Add 3 Queen&co snowflake pearls on the left of the apple.

5. Pick the words, I appreciate you, from the Tim Holtz Big Chat sticker book, sponge the edge with Delightful Dijon ink and place in the bottom right corner of the apple.

Crazy about You- Mother's Day card

Hello and welcome to the next Mother's day card I have created. This card features the Crazy About You stamp set and coordinating Medallion punch. I love the Watermelon Wonder, Cucumber Crush and Crushed Curry inks used to create this card because they are so light and Springy feeling. I did some stamping on the card and some heat embossing for the sentiment. Bling is always needed so some Gold sequins were used. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think.

Additional supplies: ATG tape runner, Scotch 3D foam tape, clear blocks, powder bag, heat tool, scissors.

1. Create a card base from Very Vanilla card stock to measures 4 ¼” x 11” and score at 5 ½”.

2. Cut a Very Vanilla panel of card stock to measure 4” x 5”.

3. Stamp leaves onto the panel using Cucumber Crush ink.

4. Stamp 2 flowers in Watermelon Wonder ink, then punch out with the Flower Medallion punch. Stamp the other floral image with Crushed Curry ink and fussy cut. Adhere the Crushed Curry floral centered, directly to the panel and pop the 2 Watermelon Wonder flowers up with foam tape and adhere to either side of the previous floral. Place a gold sequin in the center of each floral.

5. On Basic Black card stock prepped with a powder bag, stamp the sentiment in VersaMark ink, sprinkle with Gold embossing powder then heat set. Cut the sentiment into strips, pop up with foam tape and adhere to the panel.

6. Adhere the whole focal panel to the front of the card base.

For the inside of the card cut another Very Vanilla panel, stamp the floral in the top right corner. Stamp the sentiment in the center of the panel using Memento Tuxedo black ink. Adhere panel to the inside of the card.

Somebunny Sweet

Hello and welcome to the next card in the Easter card series. I enjoyed using the stamps to create my own background and using markers to color the images. Lots of color and some die-cutting too. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think.

Create the card base using Daffodil Delight card stock.

Score the card at 4 1/4".

Cut a Whisper White card stock panel to do the stamping on.

Stamp and color the images using the Stampin' Write markers.

I also die-cut an oval circle from Daffodil Delight card stock and a plain circle from Whisper White card stock. The grass was die-cut from the coordinating die and adhered to the plain. I stamped and colored the bunny and carrots and then popped them up on dimensionals and attached to the grass. All of this was then popped up on Scotch 3D foam tape and centered on the card front.

For the inside of the card I stamped Happy Easter.

I hope you have enjoyed today's project and will check back often for more inspiration. Thank you for visiting.

Easter Treat card

A Clean and simple card that is great for a child. I used the Sale-a-bration stamp set Delicate Details (no longer available) to make the border on the card panel and then because I wanted to use most of the stamps in the Basket Bunch stamp set, I stamped them in the shape of a cross. I thought it was a great solution to what I was trying to do. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think
