Crazy about You- Mother's Day card

Hello and welcome to the next Mother's day card I have created. This card features the Crazy About You stamp set and coordinating Medallion punch. I love the Watermelon Wonder, Cucumber Crush and Crushed Curry inks used to create this card because they are so light and Springy feeling. I did some stamping on the card and some heat embossing for the sentiment. Bling is always needed so some Gold sequins were used. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think.

Additional supplies: ATG tape runner, Scotch 3D foam tape, clear blocks, powder bag, heat tool, scissors.

1. Create a card base from Very Vanilla card stock to measures 4 ¼” x 11” and score at 5 ½”.

2. Cut a Very Vanilla panel of card stock to measure 4” x 5”.

3. Stamp leaves onto the panel using Cucumber Crush ink.

4. Stamp 2 flowers in Watermelon Wonder ink, then punch out with the Flower Medallion punch. Stamp the other floral image with Crushed Curry ink and fussy cut. Adhere the Crushed Curry floral centered, directly to the panel and pop the 2 Watermelon Wonder flowers up with foam tape and adhere to either side of the previous floral. Place a gold sequin in the center of each floral.

5. On Basic Black card stock prepped with a powder bag, stamp the sentiment in VersaMark ink, sprinkle with Gold embossing powder then heat set. Cut the sentiment into strips, pop up with foam tape and adhere to the panel.

6. Adhere the whole focal panel to the front of the card base.

For the inside of the card cut another Very Vanilla panel, stamp the floral in the top right corner. Stamp the sentiment in the center of the panel using Memento Tuxedo black ink. Adhere panel to the inside of the card.

Christmas Blessings card

I do have a Christmas card I would like to share with you today and it using some of the new items that will be coming in the 2016 Holiday catalog beginning September 1st. Here Comes The Ice Cream Man- layout

Hello and welcome to today's post. I have a layout share that features the Echo Park Playground collection and the Heidi Swapp Project Life kit along with some exclusive alphas from the June Hip Kit. This layout was hard to put together for the challenge over at Sketches in Thyme (#205) but loved the collection I chose for the photos I was using. I had taken my son over to the mall to go to the indoor playground and while waiting for it to open he spotted the powered ice cream truck that made noise. Of course Michael just had to ride and he looks like he's really enjoying it. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think. . Supplies used: Echo Park Playground collection, June (main) Hip Kit alphas, Heidi Swapp Project Life kit (the stars), Cherry on Top DSP (SU), Summer Starfruit cardstock for the background(SU), ATG tape runner and Mini glue dots. I hope you have enjoyed today's project and will check back often for more inspiration. Tha...
