Wow!! New colors and new papers and die cut stars. Today's project features some new products that will be available for order on June 2nd. I had fun creating this card for Father's Day using Bohemian DSP, and a new yellow card stock that will be used often in the near future. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think.
Recipe for the card:
Card base is Bermuda Bay, Delightful Dijon layer, Bohemian DSP layer, Die was cut from the Mini Treat Bag thinlits set for the sentiment stamped in Memento Tuxedo black ink and the stars were die cut from the same set and scattered on the card front.
For the inside I used a piece of Whisper White card stock just a little smaller than the card base.
Hello and welcome to today's post. Still getting those Father's day cards together? Well this project is so simple that you can mass produce it and just change out the Designer Series paper for specific individuals. The colors used are Mossy Meadow and Daffodil Delight. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think.
Card base was made using Mossy Meadows card stock and the yellow layer is Daffodil Delight. the Park Lane DSP was cut smaller than the Daffodil Delight to create a border and then another strip of Mossy Meadow card stock was cut to 1" and adhered to the center of the card where part of the sentiment was Heat Embossed with Gold embossing powder. The Happy thinlit was cut with Fun Foam and then a piece of Daffodil Delight was cut with the same die to give a little dimension.
Additional supplies used : Fun foam and ATG tape runner.
I hope you have enjoyed this project and will visit again soon for more inspiration.

Welcome to today's post. It's a clean and simple card that has just the right masculine feel. The image and sentiment on the card come from an older Hero Arts stamp set (CL335=Happy Dad's Day) and it worked so well with the other elements used on the card. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think.
One stamp set, one die, 1 ink color, 1 paper pad and a card base. These are the things needed to make today's simple card. Here's a card idea that can be made in a hurry for the man in your life. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think.
Supplies used: Crazy About You SU 137137, Hello You thinlits SU 137363, Early Espresso Classic ink SU 126974, My Mind's Eye 6x6 Indie Chic paper pad #1C0181, Darice Chocolate Lovers Core'dinations GX-2200-05, Mini brads, ATG tape runner, Stampin Dimensionals #104430, Big Shot and Stampin' Trimmer.
I hope you have enjoyed this project and please check back often for inspiration.
Welcome to today's post and let me just say that the color choices were simple but this card went in a totally different way than I had imagined. I don't know if anyone else has a hard time coming up with new layouts but this one sure did a number on me. Purples and cream are the colors of the day and I like the final results. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think.
1. Make a card base from Very Vanilla Core’dinations cardstock
2. Make a layer ( 5 ¼ “x 4”) from Perfect Plum Core’dinations card stock 2 times (one for the inside)and then run through the Fancy Fan embossing folder.
3. Using the Squares framelits collection, the largest plain square, cut a piece of Very Vanilla Core’dinations and then another one in the next size down out of a piece of Wisteria Wonder Core’dinations card stock.
4. Next cut a circle from Very Vanilla Core’dinations card stock using the Circle Framelits and the Big shot machine (any die cutting machine will do).
5. Stamp an image from Sketched Birthday stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink- I used the cake- then color the image using Stampin’ Write markers (Melon Mambo, Rich Razzleberry, Hello Honey and Lost Lagoon) and a light brown maker was used for the icing.
6. On a scrap of Very Vanilla Core’dinations stamp the Happy Birthday from the same stamp set in Perfect Plum ink.
7. To assemble the card: Wrap the embossed Perfect Plum panel with the Wisteria Wonder seam binding ribbon and then using the liquid glue adhere the embossed card stock to the cardbase. Adhere the Wisteria Wonder square to the Very Vanilla square and then pop up with dimensional and adhere to the embossed panel. Place the stamped image piece in the center of the Wister Wonder and then place the cut Happy Birthday image below. Scatter medium pearls round the card.
8. For the inside: adhere the Perfect Plum card stock and the Wisteria Wonder cardstock and then adhere to the inside of the card.
I hope you have enjoyed this project and please check back often for inspiration.

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mother's out there and I hope you have been enjoying your special day as much as I have.
Today I have a birthday card for you that is part of a group color challenge that I am in to use Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry and Pool Party. This is not a color combo I would normally put together but started out with the DSP for this card made it a little easier to come up with an idea. So take a look at the project below and let me know what you think.
1. Start with
a 5” x 4 ¼” card base of Crushed Curry cardstock. 2.Cut a piece of Melon Mambo cardstock to 4 ¾” x 4” 3.Cut a piece of Flashback DSP to 4 ½” x 3 ¾” and
adhere to the Melon Mambo panel. 4.Cut a piece of Melon Mambo cardstock using the #2
Deco label and then cut the #1 Deco label from Whisper White cardstock. Run the
Melon Mambo Deco piece through the Zig Zag embossing folder, using the Big
Shot. 5.Stamp the image from Sketched Birthday stamp set
onto Whisper White piece using Pool Party ink, then use the Melon Mambo Stampin’
Write marker to color the cupcake top. 6.Wrap Crushed Curry ribbon around the Melon Mambo
and DSP layers using glue dots. 7.Adhere the focal image to the embossed Melon
Mambo piece and the pop up with dimensional and adhere in the center of the
For the inside of the card I simply cut another piece of 4 ¾”
x 4” Melon Mambo cardstock and adhere it.
I hope you have enjoyed this
project and please check back often for inspiration.
Continuing with the series, here is a card using Mossy Meadow card base, Basic Black layer and the stamped images cut into thirds to create a panel card. This card can be for any occasion and was very easy to put together. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think.
I saw a video on YouTube about stamping your own background and then cutting it up into pieces to make 8 to 10 card fronts. I chose the Flower Patch stamp set.
Start off by choosing your cardstock- mine is Very Vanilla Core'dinations paper for a little texture. Then I took the large flower from the stamp set and started stamping randomly all over the paper.
The next stamp was inked with Hello Honey ink and filled in the white space.
The final image used was done in Mossy Meadow ink for the leaves.
Now here are all of the pieces you get:
Here's the first card made with this One Sheet Wonder.
Additional supplies used: ATG tape runner, VersaMark ink and a heat tool.
Welcome to today's post. The card for today features retiring stamp set, DSP, and framelits. This is a clean and simple card with few embellishments but much impact. Take a look below and let me know what you think.
Started with a standard cardbase of Gumball Green cardstock, took a 1/4" smaller piece of Summer Starfruit cardstock and ran it through the Decorative Dots embossing folder using the Big Shot machine. Adhered the Summer Starfruit panel to the cardbase. Cut a strip of the Watercolor Wonder DSP and sponged the edges with Island Indingo ink. Using mini glue dots adhered DSP to the left side of the Summer Starfruit panel. Very Vanilla cardstock was used to die cut the sentiment using the Window Frames framelits, then popped up with dimensionals and centered on the front of the card.
