Happy Bithday Cupcake

Happy Mother's Day to all the Mother's out there and I hope you have been enjoying your special day as much as I have. Today I have a birthday card for you that is part of a group color challenge that I am in to use Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry and Pool Party. This is not a color combo I would normally put together but started out with the DSP for this card made it a little easier to come up with an idea. So take a look at the project below and let me know what you think.
Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog

1.    Start with a 5” x 4 ¼” card base of Crushed Curry cardstock.
2.       Cut a piece of Melon Mambo cardstock to 4 ¾” x 4”
3.       Cut a piece of Flashback DSP to 4 ½” x 3 ¾” and adhere to the Melon Mambo panel.
4.       Cut a piece of Melon Mambo cardstock using the #2 Deco label and then cut the #1 Deco label  from Whisper White cardstock. Run the Melon Mambo Deco piece through the Zig Zag embossing folder, using the Big Shot.
5.       Stamp the image from Sketched Birthday stamp set onto Whisper White piece using Pool Party ink, then use the Melon Mambo Stampin’ Write marker to color the cupcake top.
6.       Wrap Crushed Curry ribbon around the Melon Mambo and DSP layers using glue dots.
7.       Adhere the focal image to the embossed Melon Mambo piece and the pop up with dimensional and adhere in the center of the card.

For the inside of the card I simply cut another piece of 4 ¾” x 4” Melon Mambo cardstock and adhere it.

I hope you have enjoyed this project and please check back often for inspiration.

Hang Your Stocking Christmas card 7-28-19

Hello crafters and welcome to some Christmas inspiration on the blog today. I am in the process of using up my stash and making as many cards as possible before the hustle bustle of the season begins. The card for today features the Hang Your Stocking stamp set and Festive Farmhouse DSP (designer series paper). I stamped the stocking and the sentiment using Cherry Cobbler ink and then stamped the snowflakes with VersaMark ink and heat set with some silver embossing powder. I love how this card came out and more inspiration is on the way. Take a look at the project below and please let me know what you think. Supplies used: . I also popped up the focal image using Scotch 3M Foam tape. I hope you have enjoyed today's project and will check back often for more inspiration. Thank you for visiting.

Graceful Garden friendship card

Here's my second card for the weekend. I just can't stop with the butterflies and I wanted to feature the ink colors in a clean and simple card. Sequins just had to be added for a little sparkle. The colors I used will be retiring soon so if you like them go and grab then while you can. I hope you'll take a look at the project below and let me know what you think. Supplies:

Happy Valentine's Day

Hello and welcome to the first Valentine's card I have created for this year. I had to switch card making mode after making so many Christmas cards. This one was hard for me to finish off after having all of the elements cut and had some help coming up with the finishing touches like the sentiment placement and heart sequins. All of the papers used are Stampin' Up as well as the heart sequins. I really like how this one turned out and hope you will as well.
