Annual Christmas card

Good morning everyone.  Today I would like to share the cards my Sister in Law and I made for our annual Christmas card night. A lot of the products used come from the Holiday catalog which comes out on Sept 1st. Crafty Lou created a card using the Christmas Quilt bundle and coordinating DSP while I created my card using the Hang Your Stocking stamp set with coordinating dies, the Year of Cheer DSP, and a sentiment from the Brightly Lit Christmas stamp set. We both used a nest of thread on our cards and Crafty Lou added some bling. Take a look at the projects we created and let us know what you think.

Additional supplies:Red sewing thread, Gold sewing thread, Jewel brad, ATG, MISTI, Red ink.

We hope you have enjoyed our projects and will check back soon for more inspiration. Look below for a closer look at each card.

Christmas Easel card

Hello and welcome everyone.  I have a new card project I'd like to share with you that I created after watching a YouTube video by Cynthia Maynard(I'll try to link the video below).  Mine may not have come out as well but I'm very happy with the results.  Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think and then head on over to Cynthia Maynard's channel and check out her video.

Cynthia Maynard's video:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zQJ2QMWiCwQ&t=303s

Supplies:

Additional supplies: ATG, clear blocks, Stampendous Truck Tidings stamp set (CLD01), American Crafts Jolly 6x6 paper pad (35760)

  1. Create an A2 sized card base from Whisper White card stock to measure 5 ½” x 8 ½” and score at 4 ¼”.
  2. On the front panel, cut one side on the 1 ½” mark up to the score line and then slide the card base to 4” and cut up to the score line.
  3. Cut a 3” x 4” piece of Whisper White card stock and adhere centered inside the card base. Glue down the two sides using favorite adhesive.
  4. For the side panels cut 2 patterned paper panels that measure 1 ¼” x 4” and for the middle panel cut 2 pieces of coordinating patterned paper at 1 7/8” x 2 ¼”. Fold the center panel in half, score with bone folder and adhere the patterned paper with favorite adhesive.
  5. Next, cut 2 different size labels, stamp sentiment on the smaller label using Cherry Cobbler ink and then adhere the labels together with Dimensionals. Adhere the sentiment to the inside of the flap and then stamp a coordinating sentiment beneath.
  6. Die-cut a scalloped circle from another piece of the patterned paper and then a plain circle from Whisper White card stock. Sponge the edges of the White circle with Cherry Cobbler ink and then stamp the focal image with Memento Tuxedo black ink. Color the images with Stampin’ Write markers (Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green, Crushed Curry, Tempting Turquoise, Berry Burst).
I hope you have enjoyed today's project and will check back often for more inspiration. Thank you for visiting.

Ribbon of Courage cards

Hello and happy Saturday to everyone. Today I have created 2 cards in different color palettes but not for a specific reason. I mainly used markers to color in the image and kept everything very clean and simple. Take a look at the projects below and let me know what you think.

    Merry Christmas Wishes card

Welcome to today's post where I will share a clean and simple Christmas card. I love the cool blues and the pops of red in the patterned paper. Only the sentiment was stamped and then sequins scattered around the card. Sometimes the paper can do all the work for you. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think.

    Supplies:

Additional supplies: Recollections White card stock, Recollections Winter Brites cardstock paper, clear blocks, ATG.

    1. Create a card base from a piece of the Winter Brites cardstock paper pack that measures 4 ¼" x 11" and score at 5 ½".

    2. Cut a piece of White card stock to measure 4" x 5 ¼" and then cut another piece of the cardstock paper to the same measurements. Cut the patterned paper on an angel from the top right corner and adhere these panels together using favorite adhesive.

    3. Stamp the sentiment across the top in a diagonal, using Real Red ink and adhere the whole focal panel to the card base.

    4. Sprinkle Bermuda Bay sequins around the card front using Mini Glue dots.

The inside of the card was left blank for a personal message.

I hope you have enjoyed today's project and will check back often for more inspiration. Thank you for visiting.
