My Short Absence

Hello everyone, I just wanted to drop in real quick and let you know that I will be back to created cards/ layouts shortly but at this time I am spending some time with my Husband who has cancer and caught some kind of infection. I have missed creating but feel that at this time I need to focus on Eugene's recovery. I hope to be back at it next week with new Christmas ideas and the New Holiday Catalog Launch. Thank you in advance for understanding my needed time away from crafting and creating and I hope to see you all back with me on my return. Please visit www.creativemeasures.stampinup.net to get your hands on the products used to create this card I hope you have enjoyed today's project and will check back often for more inspiration. Thank you for visiting.

Annual Christmas card

Good morning everyone.  Today I would like to share the cards my Sister in Law and I made for our annual Christmas card night. A lot of the products used come from the Holiday catalog which comes out on Sept 1st. Crafty Lou created a card using the Christmas Quilt bundle and coordinating DSP while I created my card using the Hang Your Stocking stamp set with coordinating dies, the Year of Cheer DSP, and a sentiment from the Brightly Lit Christmas stamp set. We both used a nest of thread on our cards and Crafty Lou added some bling. Take a look at the projects we created and let us know what you think. Supplies: . Additional supplies:Red sewing thread, Gold sewing thread, Jewel brad, ATG, MISTI, Red ink. We hope you have enjoyed our projects and will check back soon for more inspiration. Look below for a closer look at each card.
