School Days

Good morning.  It's Back to School time and I have a card just for the occasion.

Instructions:
  1. Cut a piece of craft card stock to 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" and score at 4 1/4".  Fold.
  2. Cut a piece of Real Red card stock (Stampin' Up) to 5 1/4" x 4", run through a stripes embossing folder (Darice) and adhere to the card base with ATG gun.
  3. Place a piece of yellow card stock cut to 4 1/4" x 3 1/4" ( I used a scrap piece from Recollections) in the center of the front Real Red panel.
  4. Adhere a piece of Whisper White (Stampin' Up) card stock (4" x 2") and a piece of ledger designer series paper from the Mabel Papers 6x6 pad by My Minds Eye (2 1/8" x 3 3/8") together and adhere to the yellow panel on an angle.
  5. Die cut a label from Real Read card stock (Stampin' Up) using the Sizzix (5566537) Label, Ornate #4 and adhere the School Days Sticker (Mambi Stickers) to the center.  Then adhere the whole thing to the Ledger DSP.
  6. To finish off the card place Rhinestones (Queen&Co) or Sequins in a visual triangle around the card.
  7. For the inside of the card I just place a piece of Whisper White card stock (Stampin' Up) cut to 5 1/4" x 4" to write my message.
I hope you have enjoyed this project and please check back often for inspiration.

Hang Your Stocking Christmas card 7-28-19

Hello crafters and welcome to some Christmas inspiration on the blog today. I am in the process of using up my stash and making as many cards as possible before the hustle bustle of the season begins. I stamped the stocking and the sentiment using Cherry Cobbler ink and then stamped the snowflakes with VersaMark ink and heat set with some silver embossing powder. I love how this card came out and more inspiration is on the way. Take a look at the project below and please let me know what you think. Supplies used: . I also popped up the focal image using Scotch 3M Foam tape. I hope you have enjoyed today's project and will check back often for more inspiration. Thank you for visiting.

Christmas Blessings card

Here Comes The Ice Cream Man- layout

Hello and welcome to today's post. I have a layout share that features the Echo Park Playground collection and the Heidi Swapp Project Life kit along with some exclusive alphas from the June Hip Kit. This layout was hard to put together for the challenge over at Sketches in Thyme (#205) but loved the collection I chose for the photos I was using. I had taken my son over to the mall to go to the indoor playground and while waiting for it to open he spotted the powered ice cream truck that made noise. Of course Michael just had to ride and he looks like he's really enjoying it. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think. . Supplies used: Echo Park Playground collection, June (main) Hip Kit alphas, Heidi Swapp Project Life kit (the stars), Cherry on Top DSP (SU), Summer Starfruit cardstock for the background(SU), ATG tape runner and Mini glue dots. I hope you have enjoyed today's project and will check back often for more inspiration. Tha...
