Blooming Birthday Bookmark

Good morning everyone.  Today I have a simple bookmark project for you.I chose the Flower Patch stamp set to create this bookmark.  It's one of my favorites and it's so versatile.




Instructions:
  1. Begin by cutting a 2" strip of Whisper White card stock.  The length is approximately 6 3/4" (will depend on the size you'd like your bookmark to be). Place the top of card stock in the Tag Topper Scalloped punch and push.
  2. Using a Stampin Sponge and Hello Honey ink, sponge all of the edges.
  3. Stamp your image choices over the white card stock.  For the larger flower image (Mossy Meadow) I stamped off once (for a lighter image) and then for the center went directly to the paper (for a darker image).
  4. Using Mossy Meadow ink stamp the sentiment in the bottom center of the book mark.
  5. In the bottom left corner stamp 3 stems (Mossy Meadow) and a flower image on top in Hello Honey ink.
  6. On a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock stamp your large flower image then die cut the image using the Big Shot machine. Sponge a small scrap of Whisper white card stock with Hello Honey ink and die cut a centerpiece for your flower.  Adhere the pieces together with Tombo Mono Multi Liquid glue and use a mini glue dot to position it on the bookmark above the greeting.
  7. Position 3 Rhinestone Basic Jewels where you want them and you're done.

Hello crafters and welcome to some Christmas inspiration on the blog today. I am in the process of using up my stash and making as many cards as possible before the hustle bustle of the season begins. The card for today features the Hang Your Stocking stamp set and Festive Farmhouse DSP (designer series paper). I stamped the stocking and the sentiment using Cherry Cobbler ink and then stamped the snowflakes with VersaMark ink and heat set with some silver embossing powder. Graceful Garden friendship card

Here's my second card for the weekend. I just can't stop with the butterflies and I wanted to feature the ink colors in a clean and simple card. Sequins just had to be added for a little sparkle. Happy Valentine's Day

Hello and welcome to the first Valentine's card I have created for this year. I had to switch card making mode after making so many Christmas cards. This one was hard for me to finish off after having all of the elements cut and had some help coming up with the finishing touches like the sentiment placement and heart sequins. All of the papers used are Stampin' Up as well as the heart sequins. I really like how this one turned out and hope you will as well.
