So sorry...

Hello and welcome to today's post. I know none of us like to make Sympathy cards but every now and then they are needed. I created this new card with a very soft Taupe and Vanilla combo. The embossing folder is a Christmas one but lent itself to a dimensional background that I felt was needed. Inking all the edges seemed to soften the card and I love the monochromatic design. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think.

Supplies:
.

Additional supplies: ATG, Hero Arts Remember stamp set and Hero Arts With Sympathy stamp set, clear blocks.

1. Create a card base from Tip Top Taupe card stock to measure 4 ¼” x 11” and scored at 5 ½”.

2. Cut a piece of Very Vanilla card stock to measure 4” x 5 ¼” and run through the Big Shot machine using the Quilt Top embossing folder, inked with Tip Top Taupe ink. Sponge the edges with the same ink and adhere to the card front.

3. Cut a piece of Tip Top Taupe card stock to 2 3/8” x 3 7/8” and then cut a slightly smaller panel of Very Vanilla card stock. Stamp the focal image on the Very Vanilla card stock using Tip Top Taupe ink and sponge all the edges. Adhere the focal panel to the Tip Top Taupe card stock panel and then left centered on the card front.

4. Next cut a strip of Tip Top Taupe card stock and a slightly smaller strip of Very Vanilla card stock. Stamp the sentiment on the Vanilla card stock and adhere to the Taupe strip. Pop the sentiment up with dimensionals and adhere to the right of the focal image on the card front.

5. For the inside of the card, I sponged all the edges of a 4” x 5 ¼” panel with the same ink as before and then stamped the message. Adhere the panel inside.

I hope you have enjoyed today's project and will check back often for more inspiration. Thank you for visiting.

I stamped the stocking and the sentiment using Cherry Cobbler ink and then stamped the snowflakes with VersaMark ink and heat set with some silver embossing powder. I love how this card came out and more inspiration is on the way. Take a look at the project below and please let me know what you think. Supplies used: . I also popped up the focal image using Scotch 3M Foam tape. I hope you have enjoyed today's project and will check back often for more inspiration. Thank you for visiting.

Here Comes The Ice Cream Man- layout

Hello and welcome to today's post. I have a layout share that features the Echo Park Playground collection and the Heidi Swapp Project Life kit along with some exclusive alphas from the June Hip Kit. This layout was hard to put together for the challenge over at Sketches in Thyme (#205) but loved the collection I chose for the photos I was using. I had taken my son over to the mall to go to the indoor playground and while waiting for it to open he spotted the powered ice cream truck that made noise. Of course Michael just had to ride and he looks like he's really enjoying it. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think. . Supplies used: Echo Park Playground collection, June (main) Hip Kit alphas, Heidi Swapp Project Life kit (the stars), Cherry on Top DSP (SU), Summer Starfruit cardstock for the background(SU), ATG tape runner and Mini glue dots. I hope you have enjoyed today's project and will check back often for more inspiration. Tha...
