Lots of Lavender Thinking of You card

Hello and welcome to the post for today. I made a card for someone who is going through a hard time right now and I thought I would share how I made it with all of you. The stamp set used is one that you can get for free with a $50.00 purchase and it's perfect for almost any occasion. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think. Supplies: Additional supplies: ATG, Scotch 3M foam tape, powder bag, heat tool, EK Success border punch, waterbrush. 1. Create a card base from Perfect Plum card stock to measure 5 ½’ x 8 ½” and scored at 4 ¼”. 2. Next punch out a scallop border and cut in half. 4. Cut a rectangular piece of Perfect Plum card stock, next a slightly smaller panel of Whisper White card stock and finally a piece of DSP slightly smaller still. Adhere the 3 panels together and then a

Party Pandas Happy Birthday

Hello and welcome to the post for today where I will share with you a birthday card I created for a little boy who is turning 8 years old. I found out that it's not so easy to come up with a card design that's not too young, not too old and isn't too frilly. The new papers in the True Gentleman DSP helped with all of that and then I added a Panda just for the cuteness. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think. . Supplies: . Additional supplies: ATG, Scotch 3M foam tape. 1. Create a card base from Night of Navy card stock to measure 5 ½’ x 8 ½” and scored at 4 ¼”. 2. Cut a piece of Very Vanilla card stock to measure 4” x 5 ¼” and sponge the edges with Crumb Cake ink and adhere to the card front. 3. Next cut a piece of DSP, sponge the edges and adhere to the card front at an angle. 4. Next cut a strip of Very Vanilla card stock, stamp the focal image with Memento Tuxedo black ink, trim to size and round the corners. Cut a sligh

So sorry...

Hello and welcome to today's post. I know none of us like to make Sympathy cards but every now and then they are needed. I created this new card with a very soft Taupe and Vanilla combo. The embossing folder is a Christmas one but lent itself to a dimensional background that I felt was needed. Inking all the edges seemed to soften the card and I love the monochromatic design. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think. . Supplies: . Additional supplies: ATG, Hero Arts Remember stamp set and Hero Arts With Sympathy stamp set, clear blocks. 1. Create a card base from Tip Top Taupe card stock to measure 4 ¼” x 11” and scored at 5 ½”. 2. Cut a piece of Very Vanilla card stock to measure 4” x 5 ¼” and run through the Big Shot machine using the Quilt Top embossing folder, inked with Tip Top Taupe ink. Sponge the edges with the same ink and adhere to the card front. 3. Cut a piece of Tip Top Taupe card stock to 2 3/8” x 3 7/8” and then cut a slight

Love You card

Welcome to the blog today and I hope this finds you well. Since the snow is still on the ground and there's no reason for me to be on the road, I have been in my craft room creating and this is the latest Valentine card I have created. I think it can be used for anyone at anytime of the year just to say you Love them. The design is clean and simple with the use of the embossing folder to provide some texture in place of DSP. The gold heat embossing brings the sentiment to the front of the whole design. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you what you think. . Supplies: . Happy Valentine's Day

Hello and welcome to the first Valentine's card I have created for this year. I had to switch card making mode after making so many Christmas cards. This one was hard for me to finish off after having all of the elements cut and had some help coming up with the finishing touches like the sentiment placement and heart sequins. All of the papers used are Stampin' Up as well as the heart sequins. I really like how this one turned out and hope you will as well.
