Grateful for You (Thanksgiving card)

Hello and welcome to the post for today where I did use two discontinued products but I'm sure you can find the same types of dies and stamps in your stash. I'm still working on Holiday cards for the Thanksgiving season and today's card uses dies from Makers Mart DOM Sep17 and some ink for the edges along with the two-tone greeting. The "For You" is from the SU Crazy About You stamp set. This card took a little more time to create with all the die-cutting, which is a great way to use up your scraps, but I love how it turned out.
Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think.

Supplies:

Additional supplies: Fun Foam,    Spellbinders DOM-Sep17,  Celebrate Everyday

1.       Create a card base from Whisper White card stock to measures 4 ¼” x 11” and score at 5 ½”.
2.       Die cut the wreath from Old Olive card stock and adhere to the front of the card using Fine-tip glue pen.
3.       Die-cut the various leaves using Hello Honey, Tangelo Twist and Blackberry Bliss card stocks.  Adhere the leaves around the wreath using Fine-tip glue pen and then adhere the acorns made with Crumb Cake card stock and sponged with Soft Suede ink on top,  in the center of the leaf clusters using a mini glue dot.
4.       Die-cut the Grateful sentiment from both Whisper White card stock and white Fun Foam.  Cover the bottom of the die with post-it tape and sponge on Soft Suede ink to the top of the sentiment and adhere the two pieces together.  Adhere the sentiment across the center of the wreath and then stamp for rest of the sentiment with Tangelo Twist ink as shown on the project.
5.       Sponge the edge of the card front with Hello Honey ink.
6.       For the inside of the card cut a 4” x 5 ¼” panel of Whisper White card stock and sponge the edges with Hello Honey ink.  Stamp the Sentiment using Soft Suede ink in the center of the panel.  Use some of the extra leaves from the front of the card to adhere around the sentiment inside.

Christmas Blessings card

Happy Sunday. I know it's been about a week since I've posted but I've been a bit under the weather and sometimes you're just not up to being creative when you're not feeling well, so I apologize for that. Here Comes The Ice Cream Man- layout

Hello and welcome to today's post. I have a layout share that features the Echo Park Playground collection and the Heidi Swapp Project Life kit along with some exclusive alphas from the June Hip Kit. This layout was hard to put together for the challenge over at Sketches in Thyme (#205) but loved the collection I chose for the photos I was using. I had taken my son over to the mall to go to the indoor playground and while waiting for it to open he spotted the powered ice cream truck that made noise. Of course Michael just had to ride and he looks like he's really enjoying it. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think. . Supplies used: Echo Park Playground collection, June (main) Hip Kit alphas, Heidi Swapp Project Life kit (the stars), Cherry on Top DSP (SU), Summer Starfruit cardstock for the background(SU), ATG tape runner and Mini glue dots. I hope you have enjoyed today's project and will check back often for more inspiration. Tha...
