Snowman Merry Christmas

Hello and welcome to today's post. I hope everyone who celebrates Thanksgiving had a great day filled with family and friends. I wanted to share my latest Christmas card with you and it's very similar to the previous card I made with the deer except this one has a snowman and was colored in with markers. The same DSP was used and silver sequins were used for a little bit of sparkle. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think.

Additional supplies: ATG, 3M foam tape, clear blocks, powder bag, heat tool.

  1. Create a card base from Garden Green card stock to measure 5 ½” x 8 ½” and scored at 4 ¼”.
  2. Cut a 4” x 5 ¼” piece of Very Vanilla card stock and adhere to the card base using your favorite adhesive.
  3. Cut a piece of the DSP to 3 ¾” x 5” and adhere to the Very Vanilla card stock.
  4. Cut a strip of Very Vanilla card stock and stamp the sentiment in Garden Green ink coming from the right side of the strip. Adhere the strip about 1/3” of the way up from the bottom of the DSP.
  5. Cut a 1 ½” x 2 5/8” piece of Garden Green card stock and then a slightly smaller piece of Very Vanilla card stock. On the Very Vanilla piece stamp the focal image using Memento Tuxedo black ink and then color in with Stampin’ Write markers. Stamp some dots with Versa Mark ink, sprinkle with Silver embossing powder and heat set. Adhere the 2 card stocks together with your favorite adhesive and then pop up the whole focal panel with foam tape and adhere to the left of the sentiment strip.
  6. Sprinkle silver sequins on the card front
Finish off the inside of the card with a personal message.

I hope you have enjoyed today's project and will check back often for more inspiration. Thank you for visiting.

The colors I used will be retiring soon so if you like them go and grab then while you can. I hope you'll take a look at the project below and let me know what you think. Supplies:
