Thanksgiving card

Hello and welcome to today's post showing my final Thanksgiving card. This card showcases the leaf image both stamped and then heat-embossed in gold. The DSP is a Halloween paper with a little ink sponging around the edges pulling it all together. For added bling I sprinkled the card front with gold sequins. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think.

Additional supplies: ATG, clear blocks, powder bag, heat tool, Hero Arts Celebrate Everyday stamp set and Fun Foam.

  2. Cut a 4” x 5 ¼” piece of Very Vanilla card stock and adhere to the card base using your favorite adhesive.
  3. Cut a piece of the DSP to 3 ¾” x 5”. Use the Curvy Corner Trio punch (retired) on all 4 sides and adhere to the Very Vanilla panel. Next cut another piece of Very Vanilla card stock to 3 5/16” x about 4 ½” and sponge the edges with Perfect Plum ink.
  4. Stamp the leaf in Perfect Plum ink 2 times on the diagonal and then on a separate piece of card stock stamp in Versa Mark ink, sprinkle with Gold embossing powder and heat set. Water color the image and let dry. Pop the image up with Fun foam and adhere over the previously stamped images.
  5. Using Pumpkin Pie ink, stamp the sentiment at the bottom of the panel.
  6. Sprinkle the card front with sequins and adhere the whole focal panel to the card front.

The colors I used will be retiring soon so if you like them go and grab then while you can. I hope you'll take a look at the project below and let me know what you think. Supplies:
