Cool Treats Gatefold card

Hello and welcome to the post for today. I thought it would be nice to create a card that could help cool things off. I love the ice cream scoops and that colorful DSP. The gatefold on this card just adds to the whimsy of the theme. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think.

Supplies:
.

Additional supplies used: ATG, clear blocks.

1. Cut a piece of Peekaboo Peach card stock to 5 ½" x 8 ½" and score at about 2 1/8" on each side.

2. Cut 2 strips of Pool Party card stock to 2" x 5 7/16" and then 2 strips of DSP to 1 7/8" x 5 ¼". Adhere the card stock to the side panels and then adhere the DSP on top of those.

3. Die cut scalloped square from Pool Party card stock and then a plain square from Whisper White card stock. Adhere the squares together and then center on card front using adhesive on one side only.

4. Die cut the bowl, ice cream and fudge from the coordinating framelits and adhere to the Whisper White square.

5. Cut a strip of Pool Party (5/8" x 3") and a strip of Whisper White (1/2" x 2 7/8"). Stamp the sentiment in Crumb Cake ink and adhere the strips together and then adhere to the opposite side of the card front.

6. For the inside of the card cut a Whisper White panel to 4" x 5 ¼" and stamp the sentiment inside.

Hang Your Stocking Christmas card 7-28-19

Hello crafters and welcome to some Christmas inspiration on the blog today. I am in the process of using up my stash and making as many cards as possible before the hustle bustle of the season begins. The card for today features the Hang Your Stocking stamp set and Festive Farmhouse DSP (designer series paper). I stamped the stocking and the sentiment using Cherry Cobbler ink and then stamped the snowflakes with VersaMark ink and heat set with some silver embossing powder. Party Pandas Valentine

Hello and welcome to the post for today. I'm still working on my Valentine cards and the one I want to share with you today is for my 5 year old son. I tried to keep this one very masculine but fun and that little panda just makes me smile when I look at it. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think. Supplies: . Additional supplies: Darice stripe embossing folder, ATG, Xacto corner rounder, Inkadinkado #95284 Happy Everything stamp set. 1. Create a card base from Real Red card stock to measure 5 ½’ x 8 ½” and scored at 4 ¼”. 2. Cut a piece of Basic Black card stock to measure 4” x 5 ¼”. Run this panel through the stripes embossing folder using the Big Shot machine, round the corners and set aside. 3. Next cut a piece of DSP to measure 4” x 4”, cut diagonally and then adhere to the embossed Basic Black panel. Adhere the panel to the card front using favorite adhesive. 4.
