Soccer Birthday card

Welcome to the post for today and I hope everyone enjoyed the Holiday weekend here in the States. Today the card I'm sharing is very clean and simple and once the card stock is cut it comes together very quickly. Again I have used the Brother Scan 'n Cut machine, to create a soccer ball and a Darice honeycomb embossing folder for a little texture. All of the papers and stamps used are from Stampin' Up. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think.

Additional Supplies used: Brother Scan 'n Cut machine, Darice Honeycomb embossing folder, Scotch 3M foam tape, ATG tape runner and clear blocks.

1. Create a card base from Basic Black card stock to measure a 5 ½” x 8 ½”, scored at 4 ¼”, top fold card.

2. Cut a piece of Emerald Envy card stock (4” x 5 ¼”) and then run through the Big Shot using the Honeycomb embossing folder. Adhere the panel to the card front using ATG adhesive.

3. Cut a 2” x 5 ¼” of Basic Black card stock and a 1 ¾” x 5” piece of Whisper White card stock. Adhere these panels together and then to the Emerald Envy panel. Stamp the sentiment on the left side using Memento Tuxedo black ink.

4. Using the Brother Scan ‘n Cut machine, cut out the soccer ball pieces from Basic Black and Whisper White card stocks. Adhere the pieces together to create the soccer ball (2”) and then pop up with foam tape and adhere to the card front on the right side of the sentiment.

The inside of the card was left blank for a personal message.

The colors I used will be retiring soon so if you like them go and grab then while you can. I hope you'll take a look at the project below and let me know what you think. Supplies:
