Happy Birthday card

Happy Saturday and welcome to today's post. I have a cute birthday card I made for a 13 year old. This card features die cuts using the Brother Scan 'n Cut machine and it was nice to find an image that the machine could cut out all at once. I used Stampin' Up papers, DSP, inks and stamps. Check out the project below and let me know what you think.

Additional supplies: Brother Scan 'n Cut machine, ATG tape runner, Scotch 3M foam tape

1. Cut all the pieces needed for the Birthday cake using the Brother Scan ‘n Cut machine.

2. Cut a card base to measure 5” x 7” and then cut a slightly smaller panel of DSP. Adhere the DSP to the card front.

3. Assemble the cake pieces and pop up with Scotch 3M foam tape. Adhere to the card front.

4. Stamp the flower 3 times on Whisper White cardstock using Smoky Slate ink. Die cut the flowers with the coordinating thinlits and the Big Shot machine. Adhere the flowers to the top of the card.

5. On Whisper White card stock stamp the sentiment using Flirty Flamingo ink, sponge the edges with Smoky Slate ink and adhere to the banner on the cake.

6. Place a Metallic Enamel shape in the center of each flower.

For the inside of the card I cut a Whisper White panel and stamped a sentiment from a Fiskars stamp set using Flirty Flamingo ink.

I am in the process of using up my stash and making as many cards as possible before the hustle bustle of the season begins. The card for today features the Hang Your Stocking stamp set and Festive Farmhouse DSP (designer series paper). I stamped the stocking and the sentiment using Cherry Cobbler ink and then stamped the snowflakes with VersaMark ink and heat set with some silver embossing powder. I love how this card came out and more inspiration is on the way. Take a look at the project below and please let me know what you think. Supplies used: . Graceful Garden friendship card

Here's my second card for the weekend. I just can't stop with the butterflies and I wanted to feature the ink colors in a clean and simple card. Sequins just had to be added for a little sparkle. The colors I used will be retiring soon so if you like them go and grab then while you can. I hope you'll take a look at the project below and let me know what you think. Supplies:
