Sweet Child of Mine

Hello everyone, I'm back and after getting through some family tragedies and illnesses, ready to share a layout with you all. This was a lot of fun to create mainly because of the soft blues, grays and pops of yellows. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think.

I changed the color photo to black and white so that I could used the colors I wanted. The dinosaurs in the Cool Kid collection came in handy since the blankie has a dinosaur on it.

Hang Your Stocking Christmas card 7-28-19

Hello crafters and welcome to some Christmas inspiration on the blog today. I am in the process of using up my stash and making as many cards as possible before the hustle bustle of the season begins. The card for today features the Hang Your Stocking stamp set and Festive Farmhouse DSP (designer series paper). I stamped the stocking and the sentiment using Cherry Cobbler ink and then stamped the snowflakes with VersaMark ink and heat set with some silver embossing powder. Party Pandas Valentine

Hello and welcome to the post for today. I'm still working on my Valentine cards and the one I want to share with you today is for my 5 year old son. I tried to keep this one very masculine but fun and that little panda just makes me smile when I look at it. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think. Supplies: . Additional supplies: Darice stripe embossing folder, ATG, Xacto corner rounder, Inkadinkado #95284 Happy Everything stamp set. 1. Create a card base from Real Red card stock to measure 5 ½’ x 8 ½” and scored at 4 ¼”. 2. Cut a piece of Basic Black card stock to measure 4” x 5 ¼”. Run this panel through the stripes embossing folder using the Big Shot machine, round the corners and set aside. 3. Next cut a piece of DSP to measure 4” x 4”, cut diagonally and then adhere to the embossed Basic Black panel. Adhere the panel to the card front using favorite adhesive. 4. Cut a thin strip of Whisper White card stock and place on the diagon
