Picasso face- layout

Hello and welcome to a layout share I have created for a challenge in the Victoria Marie FB group. I love the sketch we had but had a lot of trouble coming up with good color combo and elements to match. I followed the design pretty closely, using mainly Stampin' Up products with some Heidi Swapp and Tim Holtz mixed in, and then I added my own touch in a couple of places. Take a look at the project I created below and let me know what you think.

Supplies:

Additional supplies: ATG tape runner, Heidi Swapp Puffy stickers, Heidi Swapp Color Shine in gold, Tim Holtz idea-ology Big Chat stickers, DMC white thread.

1. On an 11" x 11" piece of white card stock, do the packaging technique using your blue ink. Set this aside to dry. When dry, mount this to a coordinating DSP.

2. Cut all of the paper elements using desired DSP and then arrange the pieces according to the sketch and adhere using favorite adhesive.

3. Adhere the title stickers to the left of the photo and the word stickers to the right of the photo (used as journaling).

4. Splatter the page with Heidi Swapp gold color shine.

Hello crafters and welcome to some Christmas inspiration on the blog today. I am in the process of using up my stash and making as many cards as possible before the hustle bustle of the season begins. The card for today features the Hang Your Stocking stamp set and Festive Farmhouse DSP (designer series paper). I stamped the stocking and the sentiment using Cherry Cobbler ink and then stamped the snowflakes with VersaMark ink and heat set with some silver embossing powder. Christmas Blessings card

Happy Sunday. I know it's been about a week since I've posted but I've been a bit under the weather and sometimes you're just not up to being creative when you're not feeling well, so I apologize for that. I do have a Christmas card I would like to share with you today and it using some of the new items that will be coming in the 2016 Holiday catalog beginning September 1st. I have pine cones all over my yard at home and I just love taking photos of them each year so when I saw this stamp set I knew I had to have it. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think. . Supplies: . 1. Create a card base from Old Olive card stock that is 5 ½” x 8 ½” and score at 4 ¼””. 2. Cut a panel of the Whisper White cardstock and also a slightly smaller piece of the DSP and adhere to the card base. 3. Here Comes The Ice Cream Man- layout

Hello and welcome to today's post. I have a layout share that features the Echo Park Playground collection and the Heidi Swapp Project Life kit along with some exclusive alphas from the June Hip Kit. This layout was hard to put together for the challenge over at Sketches in Thyme (#205) but loved the collection I chose for the photos I was using. I had taken my son over to the mall to go to the indoor playground and while waiting for it to open he spotted the powered ice cream truck that made noise. Of course Michael just had to ride and he looks like he's really enjoying it. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think. .
