Haven- Layout

Hello and welcome to a layout share using a little of this and a little of that. All of the supplies will be listed below. I love scrapping my son but I reached out to some friends who have daughters for a little change of pace and I have to tell you that there is so much more you can do with a girl layout. I love the frill of the doilies and the pink ( I don't use pink on my boy layouts) and ribbon. Of course, I also had to throw in some gold and flowers.

Take a look at the layout below and let me know what you think.

.

I started the layout with paper from the Jen Hadfield HomeMade paper pad and cut out the middle of pink paper and cut down the gray striped paper. The Stampin' Up Love Blossoms embellishment kit had some ribbon in it that matched the papers so well so I wrapped the ribbon around the center of the striped paper and then adhered this to the cut out pink paper. I layered some papers behind the photo and added a doily (cut in half) on either side of the photo.

.

The flowers were created using a Spellbinders die with Blushing Bride and Smoky Slate card stock and then some more embellishments from the Love Blossoms embellishment kit were placed in the center of each flower. One was put on either side of the ribbon. Some of the embellishments from the Jan and Aug Hip kits (2016) were used above the title and on the doily. There was an acetate die cut word from Pink Fresh Studio Life noted collection that was added to the to of the layout with a gold heart.

Hang Your Stocking Christmas card 7-28-19

Hello crafters and welcome to some Christmas inspiration on the blog today. I am in the process of using up my stash and making as many cards as possible before the hustle bustle of the season begins. The card for today features the Hang Your Stocking stamp set and Festive Farmhouse DSP (designer series paper). I stamped the stocking and the sentiment using Cherry Cobbler ink and then stamped the snowflakes with VersaMark ink and heat set with some silver embossing powder. I love how this card came out and more inspiration is on the way. Take a look at the project below and please let me know what you think. Supplies used: . I also popped up the focal image using Scotch 3M Foam tape. I hope you have enjoyed today's project and will check back often for more inspiration. Thank you for visiting.

Christmas Blessings card

Happy Sunday. I know it's been about a week since I've posted but I've been a bit under the weather and sometimes you're just not up to being creative when you're not feeling well, so I apologize for that. I do have a Christmas card I would like to share with you today and it using some of the new items that will be coming in the 2016 Holiday catalog beginning September 1st. Here Comes The Ice Cream Man- layout

Hello and welcome to today's post. I have a layout share that features the Echo Park Playground collection and the Heidi Swapp Project Life kit along with some exclusive alphas from the June Hip Kit. This layout was hard to put together for the challenge over at Sketches in Thyme (#205) but loved the collection I chose for the photos I was using. I had taken my son over to the mall to go to the indoor playground and while waiting for it to open he spotted the powered ice cream truck that made noise. Of course Michael just had to ride and he looks like he's really enjoying it. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think. . Supplies used: Echo Park Playground collection, June (main) Hip Kit alphas, Heidi Swapp Project Life kit (the stars), Cherry on Top DSP (SU), Summer Starfruit cardstock for the background(SU), ATG tape runner and Mini glue dots. I hope you have enjoyed today's project and will check back often for more inspiration. Tha...
