Masculine Birthday Card

Hello and again, sorry for being away for so long.  Today I have a card for the guys in your life and I used a mix of supplies to complete.  It was inspired from the sketch by Deconstructed Sketch #129 and I think it turned out nicely.

 


 
Instructions:

  1.   Cut card base to 5 ½”x 8 ½” from Soft Sky card stock and score at 4 ¼” and  fold.  Using the Stripes Mask and Pool Party ink and sponge on the stripes.
  2. Cut a piece of pattered paper from Studio Calico paper pad to 3 ¾”x 5” and round all the corners.  Adhere to the card front.
  3. Cut a banner from Pool Party card stock and adhere to the right, center of the pattered paper with the ATG gun. 
  4. Die cut a scallop circle from brown card stock and a circle from Whisper White card stock.  Adhere these pieces with ATG and then pop up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Place over the banner on the left side.
  5.  Place 3 wood veneer shapes in a visual triangle on the card front.
 
      For the inside of the card I stamped a sentiment in Pool Party ink on Whisper White card stock cut to
   3 ¾”x 5” and add a strip of the patterned paper from the front of the card at the bottom.

Graceful Garden friendship card

Here's my second card for the weekend. I just can't stop with the butterflies and I wanted to feature the ink colors in a clean and simple card. Sequins just had to be added for a little sparkle. Happy Valentine's Day

Hello and welcome to the first Valentine's card I have created for this year. I had to switch card making mode after making so many Christmas cards. This one was hard for me to finish off after having all of the elements cut and had some help coming up with the finishing touches like the sentiment placement and heart sequins. All of the papers used are Stampin' Up as well as the heart sequins. I really like how this one turned out and hope you will as well.
