Hello and welcome to today's post where I will be sharing a Christmas card I made for World Card Making Day. I used some products from the Stampin' Up annual catalog along with the Holiday catalog. I used a 2-step stamp set to create the pine cones and a gold foil snowflake. This card was pretty simple to make and minimal supplies needed. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think.
Supplies:
Additional supplies: ATG tape runner, clear blocks, MISTI, Brother Scan 'n Cut, Fun Foam
- Create a card base from Whisper White card stock to measures 4 ¼” 11” and score at 5 ½”.
- Cut a 4” x 5 ¼” Pool Party panel and adhere to a slightly smaller sheet of Fun Foam. Adhere this panel to the card base.
- Cut a piece of DSP to 3 ¾” x 5 ¼” and adhere to the card front.
- On a scrap of Whisper White card stock stamp the frame using Soft Suede ink. I cut out the frame on the Brother Scan ‘n Cut. Stamp the sentiment inside the frame using Garden Green ink and then sprinkle Soft Suede ink on the frame.
- Cut a foil snowflake in half and adhere to the top of the sentiment frame and then stamp with Crumb Cake and Soft Suede inks and die cut 3 pine cones and adhere to the bottom of the sentiment frame. Adhere all of this to the card front centered.
- Sprinkle gold sequins around the card.
I hope you have enjoyed today's project and will check back often for more inspiration. Thank you for visiting.
