Beary Merry Christmas card

Hello and welcome to today's post. I hope the weekend has been good and you're ready for a little more Christmas inspiration. This one is clean and simple with a little dry embossing, stamping and sponging the edges. I really had a good time making this one so take a look below and let me know what you think.

Supplies:
.

Additional supplies: ATG, Scotch 3M foam tape, clear blocks.

  1. Create a card base from Thick Whisper White card stock to measure 5 ½” x 8 ½”and score at 4 ¼”.
  2. Run the front of the card base through the Quilt Top embossing folder using the Big Shot machine.
  3. Using a paper trimmer, cut a 3” x 4” panel of Whisper White card stock and then cut a slightly smaller piece of DSP. Sponge the edges of the DSP with Soft Suede ink and a sponge. Adhere the two panels together and then adhere to the center of the card front.
  4. On a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock stamp the bear with Crumb Cake ink and the eyes, nose and mouth using the Soft Suede ink. Next stamp the ears in the same Soft Suede ink and attach to the back of the bear head. Stamp out the bowtie using Cherry Cobbler ink and adhere to the bear. Pop the bear up on foam tape and adhere to the card front.
  5. On another scrap of Whisper White card stock, stamp the sentiment using Garden Green ink. Sponge the edges with Soft Suede ink and pop up with foam tape and adhere under the bear.
The inside of the card was left blank for a personal message.

I hope you have enjoyed today's project and will check back often for more inspiration. Thank you for visiting.

I stamped the stocking and the sentiment using Cherry Cobbler ink and then stamped the snowflakes with VersaMark ink and heat set with some silver embossing powder. Here's my second card for the weekend. I just can't stop with the butterflies and I wanted to feature the ink colors in a clean and simple card. Sequins just had to be added for a little sparkle. The colors I used will be retiring soon so if you like them go and grab then while you can. I hope you'll take a look at the project below and let me know what you think. Supplies:
