Hello everyone and I hope this post finds you all well. I'm getting back into the swing of things and have created a CAS card for a September challenge for a group I'm in. I love the simplicity of this card with the heat embossed sentiment and image. A little sponging around the focal image brings out the embossing and then the addition of the patterned paper pulls everything together.

- Create a card base from Thick Whisper White card stock to measures 5 ½” x 8 ½” and score at 4 ¼”.
- Cut a piece of Be Merry DSP to measure 4 ¼” x 2 ¾” and adhere to the bottom of the card base.
- On a separate piece of scrap Whisper White card stock, stamp a star in Versa Mark ink, sprinkle with Silver embossing powder and heat set. Let cool and then die-cut with a circle framelit and ink the edges with a dauber and Cherry Cobbler ink.
- Stamp the sentiment in the upper right corner using Versa Mark ink and then stamp the star cluster to the left of the focal image (use for placement). Sprinkle with Silver embossing powder and heat set.
- Adhere the image onto the card base using your favorite adhesive.
