Here Comes The Ice Cream Man- layout

Hello and welcome to today's post. I have a layout share that features the Echo Park Playground collection and the Heidi Swapp Project Life kit along with some exclusive alphas from the June Hip Kit. This layout was hard to put together for the challenge over at Sketches in Thyme (#205) but loved the collection I chose for the photos I was using. I had taken my son over to the mall to go to the indoor playground and while waiting for it to open he spotted the powered ice cream truck that made noise. Of course Michael just had to ride and he looks like he's really enjoying it. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think. . Supplies used: Echo Park Playground collection, June (main) Hip Kit alphas, Heidi Swapp Project Life kit (the stars), Cherry on Top DSP (SU), Summer Starfruit cardstock for the background(SU), ATG tape runner and Mini glue dots. I hope you have enjoyed today's project and will check back often for more inspiration. Tha...

The Best Day- layout share

Hello everyone. It's been a hard day today but I relaxed a little by creating this layout. Most of the products used are from the June Hip Kit with the exception of the background stamping which uses the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set and the gold sequins which are from Stampin' Up. I enjoyed putting this page together and love the colors in this months kit. I even surprised myself by doing a little journaling on the actual layout and not hiding it. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think. . I hope you have enjoyed today's project and will check back often for more inspiration. Thank you for visiting.

It's a Good Day- card share

It's time for a new card design with some new products from Stampin' Up that I had so much fun working with. I love this new stamp set and the matching dies which make it so easy to put a card together. I wanted a sketched feel to the images so I didn't color anything in. I was going to add some bling but my husband said less is more so take a look at the project below and let me know what you think. . The supplies used: . Additional supplies: ATG tape runner. 1. Start with Flirty Flamingo card stock cut to 5 ½”x 8 ½” and score at 4 ¼”. 2. Let's Celebrate

TGIF and here's to wishing you have a great weekend. Today I would like to share a card with you the uses some old and new Stampin' Up products. Trying to clear out my stash since new goodies have arrived and I want to play. I couldn't see putting a sentiment on the front of the card so I'll probably use this as a generic celebration card. The colors lend themselves to either masculine or feminine recipients so we'll see. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think. . . Happy Father's Day

Hello and happy Sunday to you all. I hope the weekend provided much needed rest and lots of fun in the sun. Today I wanted to share with you a card for the men in our lives. This one came together pretty quickly and was pretty simple to create. All of the papers used are Stampin' Up and the image used is from Close to My Heart. There's a little heat embossing on the sentiment and of course I had to pop everything up just a little bit for some dimension. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think. . 1. Start by creating a card base that measures 5 1/2” x 8 ½” and score it at 4 1/4”. . 2. Cut a piece Perfectly Artistic DSP to 4” x 5 ¼”. Adhere the DSP to the card base using ATG tape runner. . 3. Cut a piece of Whisper White card stock to about 3 ½” x 3 ½” and then cut another piece of the Perfectly Artisitic DSP slightly smaller. Stamp the image directly onto the DSP using Memento Tuxedo black ink and adhere these 2 pieces together using...

Dad You're My Anchor

Happy Saturday everyone. Today I have a new card share for you and it's in celebration of Father's Day. It is hard coming up with card ideas for the men in our lives because there's hardly ever any bling, ribbons, or sequins- all of my go to supplies. Today's card uses some masculine colors and the sentiment is just right for a guy. Take a look at the project I have created and let me know what you think. . 1. Start by creating a card base that measures 4 ¼” x 11” and score it at 5 ½”. . 2. Cut a piece of the DSP to 4” x 5 ¼”. Trace the corners of the die on all 4 corners of the DSP and adhere to the card base. 3. Cut a piece of Whisper White card stock to 2 ½” x 3” and then cut a piece of Dapper Denim slightly smaller. Adhere these 2 pieces together using ATG tape runner and then adhere to the card base. . 4. Using a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock, die cut the tag and then stamp the image in Memento Tuxedo black ink. Sponge the edges wi...

Remember This Day- Layout share

Okay, I left for a little vacation with my family but now I'm back with a new layout share. I hope everyone enjoyed the Memorial Holiday and now getting to make those summer plans. The layout today features the January Hip Kit and the stencil used to make the circles comes from Stampin' Up Dots and Stripes masks. The ink used on the stencil is the new Stampin' Up In Color Emerald Envy. I used a gold Recollections label for my journaling which I wrote out using a .01 Project Life journaling pen and I used the Heidi Swapp Gold Color Shine to make my splatters. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think. . I hope you have enjoyed today's project and will check back often for more inspiration.
