Hello and welcome to today’s project using another sketch from Sketches in Thyme. This was the perfect sketch (#208) to use with the photos I had. For my layout, I started with a sheet of white Recollections card stock and then mounted a piece of yellow paper, from my stash, on top. Using the SU Gorgeous Grunge (#130517) stamp set, I created the splatters with Dapper Denim and Cucumber Crush (#141394) inks. The photos I used are of my son Michael in a bathtub as a baby so I chose to use the Baby Mine Boy collection kit (#648691) by Carina Gardner / Carta Bella. The tag used was from the $1 bin at Michaels and the yellow balls are a new to me product called So Suzy Skittles (Sunshine Yellow) from So Suzy Stamps. They were simply adhered to the layout using mini glue dots. In the upper left corner the circular element was created using the largest Swirly Scribbles Thinlits dies (#141497) from Stampin’ Up and it was adhered to the background using the Fine-Tip Glue pen (#138...

Hello everyone Today I wanted to share a card I made using the Lawn Fawn "So Smooth" stamp set and matching dies. I loved putting this card together and the fruit I chose are my favorites. There is a little ink blending with Distress inks, some Spectrum Noir coloring on the images and some heat embossing on the sentiment. Hello and welcome to another layout share showing my take on the sketch #207 from Sketches in Thyme blog for the week. I love how this turned out and even got to use orange on a layout. Normally I only use orange at Halloween but my son is wearing an orange jacket in the photo and the playground equipment is also orange. Love it. I used the Simple Stories So Rad collection to create my layout and then some Stampin' Up Pool Party for ink splatters that were created with the Stampin Up Gorgeous Grunge stamp set. The mat behind the photo mats is a piece of Stampin' Up Night of Navy card stock that matched the pattered paper used as a photo mat. Finally, to create the arrows at the top and bottom of the page I used the Art C stamps and stencils set from Michael's, Dreamweaver's embossing paste and added a couple of drops of Stampin' Up Tangelo Twist ink refill to match the title letters and photo mat used. Happy 4th of July weekend to everyone. I have been pretty busy this week with my full-time job but today I have a project for you using the Best Birds bundle and the Swirly Scribbles thinlits. I threw in some Moroccan DSP and also added some texture using 2 embossing folders. I think this card came together very nicely. Create a card base from Whisper White card stock that is 4 ¼” x 11” and score at 5 ½”. 2. Cut a piece of Tip Top Taupe card stock to 4” x 5 ¼” and run it through the Big Shot using the Boho Chic embossing folder. Hello and welcome to today's post. I have a layout share that features the Echo Park Playground collection and the Heidi Swapp Project Life kit along with some exclusive alphas from the June Hip Kit. This layout was hard to put together for the challenge over at Sketches in Thyme (#205) but loved the collection I chose for the photos I was using. I had taken my son over to the mall to go to the indoor playground and while waiting for it to open he spotted the powered ice cream truck that made noise. I hope you're all having a great Saturday. I'm up and about getting creative and thought I'd share my latest card creation with you. Today I have created a card on Silky White paper and stamped the images with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then colored the images using Spectrum Noir markers which will be listed below.
