Peaceful Poinsettia Christmas card

My latest Christmas card featuring the Peaceful Poinsettia stamp set and a deer from Dashing Deer stamp set. I just love Poinsettias and deer can be used all year long. The card created is a clean and simple design with some stamping, embossing, coloring and die cutting. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think.

Instructions:
1. Cut a piece of Thick Whisper White card stock to 5 ½” x 8 ½” and score at 4 ¼”.

2. Cut a piece of Gray Granite card stock to 3 5/8” x 5”, spritz with water and then run the panel through the Corrugated Dynamic embossing folder. Pop the panel up on Fun Foam and then adhere to the center of the card front. Cut a piece of Festive Farmhouse DSP to 2 ½” x 4 7/8” and adhere to the embossed panel using Tear & Tape adhesive.

3. On another piece of Whisper White card stock, stamp the large poinsettia and the holly image, from the Peaceful Poinsettia stamp set, using Memento Tuxedo black ink. Color the images using the Cherry Cobbler, Crushed Curry and Garden Green Stampin’ Write markers. Cut the images out.

4. Stamp the sentiment from the same set using Garden Green stamp pad onto a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock and then mat with a scrap of Gray Granite card stock. Adhere the sentiment to the DSP and then adhere a holly image in 2 of the corners. Adhere the large poinsettia image at the top of the DSP panel using Fine Tip glue pen.

5. Stamp a deer from the Dashing Deer stamp set using Crumb Cake stamp pad and die cut with the matching dies. Adhere the deer above the sentiment strip using Fine-tip glue pen.

Hello crafters and welcome to some Christmas inspiration on the blog today. I am in the process of using up my stash and making as many cards as possible before the hustle bustle of the season begins. Graceful Garden friendship card

Here's my second card for the weekend. I just can't stop with the butterflies and I wanted to feature the ink colors in a clean and simple card. Sequins just had to be added for a little sparkle. Christmas Blessings card

Happy Sunday. I know it's been about a week since I've posted but I've been a bit under the weather and sometimes you're just not up to being creative when you're not feeling well, so I apologize for that. I do have a Christmas card I would like to share with you today and it using some of the new items that will be coming in the 2016 Holiday catalog beginning September 1st. I have pine cones all over my yard at home and I just love taking photos of them each year so when I saw this stamp set I knew I had to have it.
