Masculine Birthday card

Happy Monday. I hope everyone weathered the storms on the East Coast and are making it back to normal. Here in Virginia we were fortunate not to have too much wind and rain and school resumed for the kids today.

So on to the card for today. I created a masculine birthday card on the fly when my husband came home from his morning walk yesterday and said his cousin's birthday was that very day. I didn't have one that would fit this recipient so I went to crafting and created one in time for his afternoon walk.  The recipient seemed to enjoy it and I was happy I could create a card so quickly.

Check out the project below and let me know what you think.

I also used a Momenta cutting template for the word happy.

Instructions:

1.  Create your card base 4 1/4" x 11" and score at 5 1/2".

2.  Run the Crumb Cake card stock (4” x 5 ¼”) panel through the Dotted Rectangles die and adhere this to the card base.

3.  Cut a piece of the dsp to measure 3 ¾” x 5” and adhere to the Crumb Cake layer.

4.  Cut another piece of dsp ( I used the reverse side of the previous piece) to 2 ¼” x 3 ¼” and a piece of the Tranquil Tide card stock.  On the card stock piece use the Crumb Cake ink and the stencil and add the ink on the panel.  Adhere these 2 pieces together and then pop  up with fun foam and adhere in the center of the card front.

5.  Die-cut the numbers out of the same dsp used on the 3rd layer and again with fun foam.  Adhere the two together and then adhere one higher than the other on the front of the card. Die-cut the word happy 3 times with adhesive sheets behind each (makes it chipboard-like).  place at the top of the numbers on the front of the card.

6.  Using the Crushed Curry card stock backed with adhesive sheets and the stars from the Mini Treat Bag die set, run through the die cutting machine.  Place 3 of the stars at the top left and bottom right corners and then place on on the card front.

I hope you have enjoyed today's project and will check back often for more inspiration.  Thank you for visiting.

Hang Your Stocking Christmas card 7-28-19

Hello crafters and welcome to some Christmas inspiration on the blog today. I am in the process of using up my stash and making as many cards as possible before the hustle bustle of the season begins. The card for today features the Hang Your Stocking stamp set and Festive Farmhouse DSP (designer series paper). I stamped the stocking and the sentiment using Cherry Cobbler ink and then stamped the snowflakes with VersaMark ink and heat set with some silver embossing powder. I love how this card came out and more inspiration is on the way. Take a look at the project below and please let me know what you think. Supplies used: . I also popped up the focal image using Scotch 3M Foam tape. I hope you have enjoyed today's project and will check back often for more inspiration. Thank you for visiting.

Graceful Garden friendship card

Here's my second card for the weekend. I just can't stop with the butterflies and I wanted to feature the ink colors in a clean and simple card. Sequins just had to be added for a little sparkle. The colors I used will be retiring soon so if you like them go and grab then while you can. I hope you'll take a look at the project below and let me know what you think. Supplies:
