Hello everyone I hope you're all doing well this fine Wednesday. I'm always good when I can get in a little crafting, which I have done today with the Halloween card I have created. Most of the supplies are retired but look in your stash for similar things that can be used to recreate this card. This card put me right in the mood for Halloween. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think.

For the card today I created an A2 sized card base with Basic Black card stock. I then cut a slightly smaller layer of (retired) Tangelo Twist(orange) card stock and ran it through the Decorative Dots embossing folder, on 2 opposite corners, using the Big Shot machine. On the opposite sides of the dry embossing I stamped the flourishes with Versa Mark and Memento Tuxedo black ink and then sprinkled with clear embossing powder. Heat set the flourishes with a heat tool.
On a piece of watercolor paper I painted some stripes in purple and black acrylic paint. Let this dry then die cut an oval and pop up on fun foam and then adhere to the front of the card between the flourishes and dry embossing. On a scrap of the purple painted water color paper stamp the sentiment with the Versa Mark and the Memento Tuxedo black ink. Heat set and then back with a strip of Basic Black card stock and pop up with Fun Foam. Adhere the sentiment to the bottom left of the card.
Stamp the image from Frightful Friends stamp set in black ink and then water color with Smoky Slate and Tangelo Twist inks. Pop the focal image up with Fun Foam and adhere to the center of the oval.
I hope you have enjoyed today's project and will check back often for more inspiration. Thank you for visiting.
