Caring Thoughts card

Today's card was made for my Uncle who just underwent surgery and I want him to know I'm always thinking about him.  I saw a video on YouTube that was using Washi tape and I thought, " I have a stash of Washi, I can do something with it."  This is what I came up with.

Stamps: Hero Arts- With Sympathy
Paper: SU Lost Lagoon,  Whisper White
Ink: SU Lost Lagoon,
Fibers: Pepperell Crafts- Hemp
Other: Stampin’ Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots, Mosaic Madness embossing folder, Watercolor Wonder Washi tape, Glossy Accents, ATG tape runner.

Instructions:
1.       Cut Lost Lagoon card stock to 4 ¼”x 11 and score at 5 ½”. Run through the Modern Mosaic embossing folder.
2.       Cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock to 2 ½”x 4 ½”.  Using the Watercolor Wonder Washi tape, adhere strips on the diagonal on the whole piece.  Fold over the edges.  Round top right corner and bottom left corner and then put dimensional on the back and adhere centered on the right side of the card base.
3.       Using a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock stamp sentiment in Lost Lagoon.  Round the top left and bottom right corners.  Put dimensionals on the left side and tape runner on the right side.  Adhere to center bottom of the card base over the washi panel as well.
4.       I used Hemp cord to make a bow and adhered it to the end of the sentiment with Glossy Accents.
For the inside of the card: Cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock to 4 ¼”x 5” and add a strip of Washi tape at the bottom.

I hope you have enjoyed this project and please check back often for inspiration.

Hang Your Stocking Christmas card 7-28-19

Hello crafters and welcome to some Christmas inspiration on the blog today. I am in the process of using up my stash and making as many cards as possible before the hustle bustle of the season begins. The card for today features the Hang Your Stocking stamp set and Festive Farmhouse DSP (designer series paper). I stamped the stocking and the sentiment using Cherry Cobbler ink and then stamped the snowflakes with VersaMark ink and heat set with some silver embossing powder. I love how this card came out and more inspiration is on the way. Take a look at the project below and please let me know what you think. Supplies used: . I also popped up the focal image using Scotch 3M Foam tape. I hope you have enjoyed today's project and will check back often for more inspiration. Thank you for visiting.

Graceful Garden friendship card

Here's my second card for the weekend. I just can't stop with the butterflies and I wanted to feature the ink colors in a clean and simple card. Sequins just had to be added for a little sparkle. The colors I used will be retiring soon so if you like them go and grab then while you can. I hope you'll take a look at the project below and let me know what you think. Supplies:
