Celebrate You card

Hello and welcome to today's post where I have created a card that could be used for almost any type of celebration with plenty of bling, foil and stamping. I was quite surprised with myself for only using one stamp set, which you can get for free with a $50.00 purchase, and only 2 stamp colors with a little heat embossing on part of the sentiment. I did use the Brother Scan 'n Cut to cut the flowers out- not a fan of fussy-cutting. Take a look at the project below and let me know what you think.

Supplies:
.

Additional supplies: ATG, 3M foam tape, Brother Scan 'n Cut, powder bag and heat tool.

1. Create an A2 card base (5 ½’ x 8 ½”), scored at 4 ¼” from Smoky Slate card stock.

2. Cut a piece of the Foil Frenzy Specialty DSP to measure 4” x 5 ¼” and set aside.

3. On a piece of Whisper White card stock, stamp the flowers twice and then the sentiment in Berry Burst ink and then 1 flower in Smoky Slate ink. Cut the flowers and the sentiment out on the Scan ‘n Cut machine.

4. Prepare a scrap piece of Smoky Slate card stock with a powder bag and using VersaMark ink, stamp the 2nd part of the sentiment and cover with White embossing powder. Heat set and set aside.

5. To assemble the card, adhere the Smoky Slate flower directly to the Foil Frenzy DSP and then pop up the Berry Burst flowers with foam tape and adhere on either side of the first flower. Cut off any excess and place a gem in the center of each flower.

6. Pop the first part of the sentiment up on foam tape and place in the upper right hand corner. Adhere the second part of the sentiment underneath the popped up sentiment and adhere the whole panel to the front of the card base.

I hope you have enjoyed today's project and will check back often for more inspiration. Thank you for visiting.

Here's my second card for the weekend. I just can't stop with the butterflies and I wanted to feature the ink colors in a clean and simple card. Sequins just had to be added for a little sparkle. The colors I used will be retiring soon so if you like them go and grab then while you can. I hope you'll take a look at the project below and let me know what you think. Supplies:
